My formal proposal. The magazine I wish to produce will be called 'All that Jazz'.

This name won several times over in the anonymous voting, and the focus group against such names as 'Jazz hands', ' ure !azz', 'Jazz beat' and '"mooth !azz magazine'. As you may have already realised by the title this magazine will be Jazz magazine, I have chosen to do this because it is a heavily under appreciated genre as my research shows, that is still around today and not properly covered, leaving a gap for us to fill there are a few competitors such as Jazzwise but we can get ahead. #ow we can do this is our target audience, though not properly $nown due to it's high class stereotype, Jazz is genre that youths, particularly students, en!oy, it may not be rave music for parties but studies show it has become increasingly popular for revision and the young have come to love it. There isn't a Jazz magazine in the %nited &ingdom focused towards the young, magazines li$e Jazzwise write in essays for many stories and use difficult technical language that puts off young readers. If we $eep it fun interesting, and simple, using technical terms when appropriate but not doing so to the e'tent no one $now what is actually written. (or our front cover we have had the Idea of using the font )hicago in blac$ and at an angle for the masthead that reads, 'all that !azz' it will be coloured blac$ with a white or perhaps a pale yellow bac$ glow. This gives it a very show type feeling relating to the fun spectacular $ind of Jazz and though masthead shall neither be in a bo' or a banner this brea$s conventions but connotates the freedom and e'pressionism that is Jazz. (or the )ontents page I have decided I would section it with bloc$s for tidiness and style and repeat that every wee$ but maybe moved around to $eep it spontaneous. At the top we'll have the same masthead and on the cover then underneath in the same font as the front covers subtitle, a subtitle saying ')ontents*+date,' I will have several pictures on the contents it will vary, and most li$ely a -uote from out main story. (or the double page spread, I will be using the left page for pictures as we have a beautiful model for our first story and we want to show her off and attract the audience to her as they flic$ through the pages. .e will be doing an interview for this story, so we $eep it simple and personal as we delve into the career of our rising start. The te't will go on the right side and we'll start with an introduction before going /0A. .e'll be $eeping it as interesting as possible and so will be trying to get some good material, we don't want to loose our readers on the first issue.
