Course Description Intensive English Centre Level 1 BEGINNER

AtIn this level, students will learn basic forms of the English language. They will be introduced to (basic-used too many times! )vocabularyies for daily communication. Upon completing the level, students will be able to ask relevant questions and givegive simple responses. Level 2 ELEMENTARY This course offers integrated skills with an emphasis on improving English language proficiency. It includes practice in listening, speaking, vocabulary- building, grammar and reading strategies. Upon completion of ing the level, students should be able to have a working ,basic vocabulary and provide essentialbasic information using the appropriate tenses. Level 3 PRE-INTERMEDIATE [This course is intended to assist students in improving and practicing their spoken English and written grammar.]Maybe in the opening paragraph.} Grammatical input is the key segment ofin this level. Students will study past, present and future verb tenses in the simple, progressive and perfect forms. Once students master the grammar and strengthen their vocabulary, the next level offers extended in-depth aspects of learning English. SUpon completing the level, students will be able to express them self( no such word!) themselves on a range of topics and present /offer provide a basic opinion, give directions and carry on conversations of common interest at a fairly normal speed.

Level 4 INTERMEDIATE (Pre-In.t?) The pre-intermediate level is designed to help students to further develop their listening, reading, speaking and writing skills. New features are introduced at tThhis stagecourse introduces new features to challenge the learners, meanwhile ensuring that learning English language isare interesting and motivating. In addition, it this level will focus on writing strategies to help students to improve their essay- writing. Besides, the pre-intermediate level is aimed at to emphasising correct s the sentence structure and sentence variety taking students from sentence-level to the paragraph level. SUpon completing the level, students reading and writing proficiency after this level , is expected to satisfiyes teitiary requirements (university entrance and study requirements). Level 5 UPPER INTERMEDIATE Within the relevant academic contexts, a variety of difficult structures in English grammar will be examined and practisced both orally and in written work herein this level. Furthermore, students will participate in group discussions, give oral presentations and practicse their listening skills thorough outthroughout the duration of this level.

Level 6 ADVANCED The advanced level has been is designed with the aim to assist students to acquire master their English language proficiency. The course is intended to prepare the students to be proficient enough in the language to communicate effectively in social situations and ,hopefully ,with first language proficiency . speakers. Meanwhile,U upon completing the course, the students will be are expected to show greater accuracy and fluency in both spoken and written English.
