Project Description:
The project deliverables involved solving the complex authorization issues, to provide a new business blueprint, knowledge transfer to client employees. The following tasks were carried out 1. Review of the present architecture for sap BW and reporting framework. 2. Participation in the review/development meeting of the new reporting framework as implemented project has some issues like loosely coupled programs / not meet up the executive board standards. 3. Creation of a new BW business blue print. 4. Conducting KT sessions with existing sap security guys and show them how best we can implement the BW security strategies. 5. Conducting sap suggested interviews with security staff.

Project Description:
Handled the change requests, 2nd and 3rd level support calls. Deliverables included: 1. Support at expert level for Development and Production issues 2. Liaised with basis for lcp/patches/support packs. 3. Resolving various Query performance issues along with other members of dev team. 4. Point of contact as in charge for production system which contains about 80 cubes and more then 328 data loads per day where system is forced down at 11 PM and should come up by 5 AM. 5. Liaised with sap UK and sap America to solve complex BW performance issues deployed in many locations across various hardware platforms and slow networking and old version of BW is in question. 6. Load balancing issues were resolved. Addressed BW sizing issues. 7. Planned for upgradation. 8. KT sessions with query developers as well as team leaders in the company.

BW Development (Queries, Web templates, Info Cubes, Enhancements of Extractors): Worked on development of New queries/Cubes/ODSs, web templates and extractors Did enhancements using CMOD/User Exits. Customization of web templates, Web reporting, web items using BW 30B web application designer (WAD) and query designer. Liaise with Global team for nece ssary update, patche s, correctio ns, transport s, ap plication enhancements and data loading. Trouble shooting the BW Authori zation Probl ems t hrough RSSM, RSSM TRACE, RSSMQ, and RSRTRACE. Aggregates a nd BW System Pe rformance ( ST 03n, RS RT, RSRT2, ST01, ST05, RSRV, Tables like RS DDSTAT, RSDDS TATAGGR, RSRCATTTRACE, ABAP Trace ( SE30), Front end Trace: IEMON, Lo cal Catch Also working on variou s issues relate d Data Clea ning/Quality, OLAP Ca che, Pre-Calculated Web T emplates, Compressing, In dices, DB St atistics, DB and b asis (Buffer) Parameter etc ) as well as Load Balancing of Processes. Integration with PWC SAP Internal Portal and Reporting Catalog. Enhancements to cube, CKF, RKF depending on requirements. Creating UK specific exits like forcing a user to enter one variable to increase performance. Working closely with BW security team on BW security issues and provide Knowledge transfer.
