RESPONDING TO ENVIRONMENT WITH POWDER COATED MDF

Powder coatings are solvent free solid coating material which contains resins, hardener, pigments and additives. For the coating of MDF, powder coatings are highly reactive thermal curing chemistries. By virtue of their low curing temperatures and fast curing speed, these powders meet the demands of wood based materials with their limited thermal stability. Environmental friendliness Powder coating is volatile organic compound free. Zero emissions and no hazardous paint sludge are generated during production. Unlike PVC foil, PVC compounds which have been the subject of environment concern are not found in the powder coating process. Advanced mechanical and chemical performance Powder coatings feature high mechanical durability and chemical resistance exceeding the properties of liquid paints and PVC foil in most instances. Free from VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds), HAP (hazardous air pollutants), heavy metals and solvents. Heat curing treatment that causes high release of formaldehyde from MDF board before coating and killing of bacteria. MDF board is encapsulated that minimize emission of residue of formaldehyde inside the board. Greater design flexibility, such as endless colors, different surface texture, flexible edge profile and embossing surface. High scratch resistance(3H). High water-resistance. Green production process that 99% of powder will be recycled and no polluted by-product existed.
