Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics Lehigh University ME 215: Engineering Reliability Fall 2013 This is a course in the

application of reliability methods to a variety of engineering problems. The focus is on modeling and analyzing engineered components and systems subjected to environmental and loading conditions. The modeling content ranges from a mechanistically based probability approach to an e perientially based statistical approach. !oncepts needed for design "ith uncertainty are developed. #rinciples from the application of probability and statistics "ill be presented and developed primarily in the conte t of engineering projects and case studies.
