Integrated Water Management
Full-time or Part-time/distance*
To support future water leaders, the International WaterCentre (IWC) is offering partial-tuition scholarships (AU$ 6,000) to the rst 10 students who enrol in an IWC Integrated Water Management postgraduate program (Masters, Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certicate) for Semester 1, 2014.

About the program


The IWC Master of Integrated Water Management takes a transdisciplinary, whole-of-water-cycle approach. It is custom-designed and taught by international practitioners and academics from four leading Australian universities. It equips students with the integration, leadership and managerial skills to become part of an elite group of water leaders with sustainable and holistic solutions to global water and climate change challenges. The next intake will commence in February 2014 and the program can be completed in 18 months full-time or 3 years part-time/distance*.

Number and availability


There are 10 partial scholarships available for the program commencing in Semester 1, 2014, available as follows: Five (5) partial scholarships for part-time/distance study* of the program; and Five (5) partial scholarships for full-time study of the program.

Value
Each partial scholarship has a total value of AU$ 6,000 for the whole Masters program. It will be paid out directly to The University of Queensland, towards tuition fees, and equally over 3 semesters of full-time study (AU$ 2,000 per semester) or over 6 semesters of part-time/distance study (AU$ 1,000 per semester). Recipients are responsible for paying the remainder of the tuition fees each semester and all other study-related expenses.

Entry requirements
A completed undergraduate degree in a related field of study from an internationally-recognised institution Demonstrated English language proficiency (please refer to The University of Queenslands English language requirements) Two years practical experience in a related field is preferred but not essential.

Scholarship restrictions
Partial scholarships are available to self-funded Australian and international students who do not receive any other full-tuition scholarship or full-tuition funding from other sources. Please read the full Terms and Conditions on IWC website.

There is no separate scholarship application form. To receive a partial scholarship: 1. Apply for the program through The University of Queensland 2. If admitted in the program, formally accept your offer, and 3. Be one of the rst 5 students to enrol part-time/distance or 5 students to enrol full-time through mySi-Net (UQs online enrolment system) when enrolments open on 18 November 2013.
