1) What is motivation? How does it affect the behavior of every working individual?
ANSWER:
Motivation is the word derived from the word motive which means needs, desires, wants or
drives within the individuals. It is the process of stimulating people to actions to accomplish the goals.
In the work goal context the psychological factors stimulating the peoples behavior can be desire for money
success
recognition
job-satisfaction
team work, etc
Motivation increases the amount of effort and energy that learners expend in activities directly
related to their needs and goals .It determines whether they pursue a task enthusiastically and
wholeheartedly or apathetically and lackadaisically.
2)List 5 most effective arives that motivates filipino workers to perform better in their work.
ANSWER:
1.Find out which tasks are each of your employees favorites.
2.Find ways to assign more of the tasks they enjoy and fewer of the ones they dont like to do.
3.Do something interesting with the lunchroom or breakroom to give it more personality.
4.Give workers lots of feedback about the way they are performing.
5.Stay out of their way and let them do the work if they know how to do it.
3)What do you think will happen to the management, employees, organizational goals when most
are not satisfied with the benefits they are getting?
ANSWER:
Customer satisfaction is an ambiguous and abstract concept and the actual manifestation of the state
of satisfaction will vary from person to person and product/service to product/service. The state of
satisfaction depends on a number of both psychological and physical variables which correlate with
satisfaction behaviors such as return and recommend rate. The level of satisfaction can also vary
depending on other options the customer may have and other products against which the customer can
compare the organization's products. So, most are not satisfied with the benefits that they are getting
the management,employees and the organizational goals will be down. They must need to adjust and
improve themselves.

4)If you are the manager of the organization how will you motivate your people to improve work
performance?
ANSWER:
If I will be the manager in the organization, I will motivate my employees by making:
FUN -Some workers really want to enjoy the work they do.
REWARDS -Many workers need to know their work will be rewarded to be motivated to perform.
REPUTATION -People motivated by reputation have a strong need to enhance their image or esteem
with others.
CHALLENGE -Research shows that most leaders in this state and in the nation seem to have
extraordinary levels of self-concept internal.
PURPOSE -Individuals who are motivated by purpose look beyond themselves.

5)Ana has been working in one of the best firms in Cebu. She has been part of the said firm of 20
years. The manager discovered that Ana made unrecorded transactions with some of their clients. She
personally get all the money for every transaction . The case was investigated and found out that Ana is
guilty of what she did. Instead of terminating her, the company just let her resigned so she can keep a
good record and apply another job.
A. What do you think will is the reason why Ana did such a thing?
ANSWER:
I think she's tired.
B. Did the company contribute something that pushes Ana to make such illegal act?
ANSWER:
No
C. Why do you think the company let her resigned instead of terminating her?
ANSWER:
The company let her resigned so she can keep a good record and apply another job.
D. If you are the manager, what action are you going to take after learning what Ana did?
ANSWER:
Same as the manager did in that case.
