The energy generation of the future
Fuel cells are an electrochemical energy transformer. They produce electricity safely and efficiently through an electrochemical combustion of hydrogen. The process is fairly simple: pure hydrogen is directed to the anode while the cathode is supplied with oxygen.This produces a chemical reaction in the fuel cell yielding an electrical current and a byproduct of pure water (H2O). The resulting electricity generated by this process can be used, for example, to power motors connected to our various CONSTRUCTION sets. The fuel cell requires an ample supply of hydrogen and oxygen. Moreover, the necessary hydrogen is supplied via a re-fillable reservoir. Comprehensive instructions and model examples are detailed in the instructions.
