Enabled direct access of processed data from multiple TEMS Discovery Professional client to back-end TEMS Discovery Enterprise SQL-Server database. Support of logfiles recorded with TEMS Investigation 14.3, TEMS Pocket 12.3, TEMS Automatic 9.1 Support of Power Point Report Template. Support of TD-SCDMA and LTE metrics for HiSilicon chipsets Support of Ericsson UETR W11BEvo, W12A, W12AEvo, W12B, and W12BEvo. Enhancements to the way of defining Statistics Cubes: Added a Single statistics for easier presentation of the metric with string data type. Plotband definition based on the nature of statistics.

Added a Progress spreadsheet to Statistics Cube Management dialog to report number of processed Projects, Datasets and Files.

A new script First_Operator_Name is added and it can be run to automatically update the device attribute Operator. TEMS device types FM (file marker) and PS (Position) are merged to first available EQ/MS. Added the following common metric groups: GPS UTC Time. Enhancements to TEMS_Service_KPIs scripts: Added Blocked_Call_Type, Dropped_Call_Type and several other metrics. Added TEMS_Automatic category and several related events.

SR000085036: New metrics are added to LTE Resource Blocks - PUSCH frame. Modification to QVoice_Metrics script and QVoice_Management_Report report template. Provided users with options for not importing layer 3 signaling messages. Added an option for Repeating by Entire Sheet in Report Template Builder. Allowing the user to select the same metric in both measurement group and dimension for creating unique count statistics. Provided options for user to select folder type for measurement and log database in SQLServer storage mode. Added options for controlling the number of File/Devices listed in Project List and Dataset Explorer to avoid slow response when the number of File/Devices exceeding several thousands. Added function allowing the user to easily create composite dataset from Statistics Browser. Added function for defining geo-center for statistics cube group.

Selected list of bugs corrected in TEMS Discovery 4.0.8

Occasionally MOC Events are missing from QVoice_Metrics script under SQL-Server storage mode. Under SQL-Server storage mode, newly import data may not show up in map view occasionally. SR000078548: Report Builder - Geo Binning does not work correctly for Delta metrics. SR000083537: Spider Move with Scanner Data option not working properly. SR000083748: Network configuration grouping logic WCDMA_by_PSC cannot be edited or removed. SR000084205: PDSCH Phyiscal Layer Throughput metric is missing from a QXDM file. SR000084776 / SR000087533: UDR filtering does not work with a specific project under flat-file storage mode. SR000084778: LTE Scanner data was not enabled for Cell Radius Analysis. SR000085060: RSRP measurement is missing for one of several EARFCNs. SR000085316 / SR000065302: Missing FCH FER and EVDO Rx Tx Power for some new TEMS Investigation log files. SR000085690: Export to MapInfo *.mif file format sometimes give wrong coordinates. SR000085803: Merge EMM State from LTE NAS Info frame to LTE NAS States frame. SR000085826: User-defined Metric Group: Data type of Longitude and Latitude cannot be correctly defined in the latest build. SR000086022: Discovery_Events script relies only on layer 3 signaling messages for determining System and Mode, resulting in failure to pick up brief transition from Connected mode to No Service mode. SR000086790: Discovery fails to import a WCDMA and LTE Cell file from TEMS Investigation. SR000087084: Missing a RRC Reconfiguration Complete message under certain condition.

Known bugs and limitations

Certain option of ADP tasks, such as Per Import Batch time option may not be correctly saved with Discovery v4.0.3 and earlier versions. It is recommended for users to create a fresh ADP task if unexpected behaviors are observed. SR 68616: Report cannot be generated completely if the template was last saved in Report Template Builder: The third-party component used by TD is not fully compatible with xlsx files. Therefore, it is recommended that the user save a report template with MS Excel. Attempt of resizing Discovery window during the import of GIS data may cause the application to pause the GIS data import. RAN Tuning Reports may show blank fields if the IEs defined in the reports are not available from data sources. GPS positions may not be available for some old log files collected with TEMS Investigation 6.x and earlier.
