The Harry S. Truman Good Neighbor Award Foundation Scholarships Description: On August 1, 1946 President Harry S. Truman signed the landmark Fulbright Act (Public Law 583, 79th Congress), providing for the international exchange of students, professors, research scholars and teachers. To honor President Truman and perpetuate his support of the international student exchange movement, the Harry S. Truman Good Neighbor Award Foundation sponsors six scholarships to underwrite the exchange of students between the United States and other countries for educational purposes. The Africa-America Institute - International Fellowship Program Description: The International Fellowships Program (IFP), launched in 2000 by the Ford Foundation, is a $280 million, global program that provides opportunities for advanced study to exceptional individuals with leadership qualities from around the world. The World Bank - The Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund Description: The Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund (MMMF) was established in 1981 to honor the late Margaret McNamara and her commitment to the well-being of women and children in developing countries. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority - General Graduate Scholarship Description: Since 1975, the Foundation has awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships and fellowships for higher education to both Zetas and non-Zetas. Pi Gamma Mu Scholarship Description: Pi Gamma Mu's scholarships are intended for first or second year of graduate work in the areas of sociology, anthropology, political science, history, economics, international relations, public administration, criminal justice, law, social work, psychology, and human/cultural geography. The Government of Hong Kong - Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fellowships for Overseas Studies Description: The Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fellowships aim at financing outstanding Hong Kong students for overseas postgraduate studies. They are expected to contribute significantly to the development of Hong Kong after graduation. Inlaks Foundation Scholarship Description: Inlaks Scholarships provide the opportunity to young people with exceptional talent in any field to broaden their vision abroad and improve their skills to operate in society, thus making them a future vehicle of change in their environment. The scholarships are of two types: university courses and specific programs. Scholarships are open to all Indian citizens of either sex who hold a good degree from a recognized university and are resident in India at the time of application. Belgian American Educational Foundation Fellowship Description: The Belgian American Educational Foundation Inc. is the leading independent philanthropy in the support of exchanging university students, scientists and scholars between

the United States and Belgium. The fellowship is an outright non renewable grant of up to $45,000. The stipend of $15,000 is to cover living and travel expenses. Point Foundation - The National LGTB Scholarship Fund Description: Points scholarship award covers a variety of expenses such as tuition, books, room, board and basic living expenses.
