Enabling delivery of Government to Citizen (G2C) and Business to Citizen (B2C) services through CSCs is the most important task that CSC SPV has been mandated to perform.The diagram below demonstrates services being offered :

Financial Inclusion:This includes delivery of financial products and services to citizens in rural areas, through the CSCs. Initial implementation in Madhya Pradesh reveals that a CSC can earn between Rs. 3000 to Rs. 50,000 a month through financial service offerings, and linkages with Government Scheme for wage and benefit disbursements. Education and Digital Literacy: CSCs are equipped to provide digital literacy and educational services to the community with ICT intervention. Skill Development:The CSC network provides an opportunity for skill development on large scale with the help of Information and Communication technologies.

Common Services Centers (CSC) Scheme


CSC is a strategic cornerstone of the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) as part of Governments commitment to introduce e-governance on a massive scale. The Scheme has been approved by Government in September 2006. CSCs provide high quality and cost-effective video, voice and data content and services, in the areas of e-governance, financial inclusion, education, health, tele-medicine, entertainment as well as other private services. CSCs offer web-enabled e-governance services in rural areas, including application forms, certificates, and utility payments such as electricity, telephone and water bills. ThePublic Private Partnership model of the CSC scheme envisages a three-tier structure consisting of the CSC operator (called Village Level Entrepreneur or VLE) the Service Centre Agency (SCA), and a State Designated Agency (SDA) identified by the State Government responsible for managing the implementation over the entire State.

1. CSC e-Governance Services India Limited is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) formed on July 16, 2009. 2. The SPV monitors and enables delivery of public and private services across India. 3. CSC ecosystem is expected to eventually comprise of more than one lakh village level entrepreneurs (VLEs), 35 State Designated Agencies (SDAs), over 20 Service Center Agencies (SCAs) and a host of public and private entities as service providers.

Responsible for enabling the single largest network of public and private service delivery outlets across India. Partnership for delivering passport related services. CSCs are permanent enrollment centers for UIDAI. CSCs become Business Correspondents for all 26 public sectors banks. Implementing E-Vidya project to empower 25000 women - with support from Ministry of Women and Child Welfare. Partnership with National Institute of Open Schooling for delivering educational services across rural india. Partnership to offer NIELIT courses and integration of NIELIT centers with CSCs. National Pension scheme started for rural citizens through CSC. CSC becomes an aggregator for Pension Regulatory and Development Authority. Partnership with TATA AIA to deliver their support services. Partnership with Election Commission of India to deliver election related services. Partnership with National Skill Development Council, Amrita University, TCS and Siemens for delivery of skill related services. Project monitoring for the National Population Register (NPR) across the country. The pilot for Investor Awareness Program started for Ministry of Corporate affairs. Partnership with Media Lab Asia & C DAC.

National e-Governance Plan (NeGP), takes a holistic view of e-Governance initiatives across the country, integrating them into a collective vision, a shared cause. Around this idea, a massive countrywide infrastructure reaching down to the remotest of villages is evolving, and large-scale digitization of records is taking place to enable easy, reliable access overtheinternet.Theultimateobjectiveistobring public services closer to the citizens doorstep, as articulated in the Vision Statement of NeGP. Make all Government services accessible to the common man in his locality, through common service centers, and ensure efficiency, transparency, and reliability of such services at affordable costs to realise the basic needs of the common man

Our Strategy
CSC SPVproposes to take a holistic approach to strengthen the CSC ecosystem and take following approach for overall sustainability of the Scheme to meet the expectations of various stakeholders. SPV enables utilization of CSC network for creating bussiness opportunities at the bottom of the paramid.
