Linguistic (diction, syntax, grammar)

I will wade out till my thighs are steeped in burning flowers I will take the sun into my mouth and leap into the ripe air Alive with closed eyes to dash against the darkness in the sleeping curves of my body Shall enter fingers of smooth mastery with chasteness of seagirls Will I complete the mystery of my flesh I will rise After a thousand years lipping flowers And set my teeth in the silver of the moon

The reason I quoted the entire poem was because there is no specific examples of his simple diction, the entire poem is simple in that way

Taking the sun into his mouth represents doing the impossible, and the darkness represents those things that are holding him back from doing so

The moon and the sun are both very large and widely known objects, and both widely unachievable when it comes to touching them

The analysiss of this poem I read say that this line refers to a mermaid whos innocence is mesmerizing but she is virginal
