2. Сообщаем, что выход модернезированных версии Антиивируса Касперского
для Windows рабочих станций/Windows сервера и АдминКита 5.0 отложен на начало февраля.
В данных версиях будут значительно расширены функциональные возможности
продуктов (АдминКит можно будет смело назвать одним из лучших на рынке!), а также решены многие известные проблемы у нынешней версии 5.0.

Added functionality:
1) Running tasks under a specified user account.
2) Updating applications using the Network Agent connected to the Administration Server. 3) Criterias for host statuses. Different icons for hosts with different statuses. 4) The Active Directory is shown. 5) MSI installer for the Network Agent. 6) Ability to build an installation package with an arbitrary license key. 7) Support of connection between the Network Agent and Administration Server via a proxy server. 8) Task progress is displayed. 9) Processing of large reports and numerous events is optimized. 10) Search for computers on the logical network. 11) Notifications about failures in the system of anti-virus protection. 12) New computers are added to groups by the range of IP addresses. 13) Only necessary updates are downloaded to the Administration Server. 14) The diagnostics for the task of changing the Administration Server has been improved. 15) Notifying the Administration Server when the Network Agent is uninstalled from a client computer. 16) The automatic installation task can be used for initial deployment of the application. 17) The main application version has been changed to 5.0 (previously, 1.16). 18) IP addresses have been added to reports. 19) The diagnostics for the remote installation task has been improved 20) Changes in anti-virus protection status for a client computer are delivered to the Administration Server in real-time mode. 21) The database version (SP 3) is checked during Admnistration Server installation. 22) A notification about system restart for remote installation tasks has been added 23) During installation of MSDE under Windows 2003 Server, the application verifies that the ‘Server’ service is running.
Bugs fixed:
1) Compatibility issues with some proxy server versions (for downloading updates by the Administration Server) have been resolved. 2) In the standard MSDE installer, MSDE SP 3 is enabled (previously, MSDE SP 2). 3) An error with non-paged pool leakage when ICMP packets are sent has been fixed. 4) An error configuring notifications from policy settings has been fixed (in the previous versions, the same settings were applied to all policies). 5) An error that occurred periodically when the database was created during Administration Server installation has been fixed.
Known issues:
1) After the upgrade, the rules for handling events on the Administration Server (on the "Event processing" tab in server properties) are set to default. It is recommended that you review the event processing settings for the Administration Server and change the default values, if necessary. 2) After the upgrade, remote installation tasks configured to run under a specified user account start working under the Administration Server account. To solve this issue, create new remote installation tasks and configure them to run under an account different from the Administration Server account. 3) MSI installer for the Network Agent has English localization only. --------------
