The New YDG from Yanmar For Power and Economy

If you are looking for a silent, compact, power source, with minimum fluctuations, the YDG is waiting for you. Durability and long operation are designed in. Mobility approaches that of a gasoline generator. And the direct injection air-cooled diesels, the amongst smallest in the world, offer very good fuel savings. The power is high. The cost is low. Specifications and accessories are available for most markets. Listen carefully, or you might not even notice they're at work.

Alarm system
The chance of damage due to low oil level operation is reduced with a Yanmar genset. An alarm is activated and the engine stops as soon as the oil falls low. Besides, the sockets on the control panel are recessed and the muffler is enclosed with a cover.

Easy Maintenance, Long lasting

Fewer par ts mean fewer maint enance worries inspection is easy and adjustments simple. Forced lu brication feeds oil to vital parts, and high qu ality materials give first-class dura bility.

Versatile power
An AVR (Automatic Volt age Regulator) gives lowfluctu ation power delivery at a selection of volt ages form 110V to 240V. Each model also makes availa ble12V D.C - really useful for charging car/ boat batteries.(excluding 3-phase models)

The extra-lightweight YDG is as easy to move around as most gasoline units. And it's easy to store too.We've achieved it by linking together our small air-cooled diesel (the Yanmar L-N type) with a highly compact and light U-frame generator. The size and weight trimming allows you to take these ,open-type,sets anywhere.

With a short 70cm stroke of a recoil st ar ter, the engine jumps into life. Auto-return decompression ma kes st arting easier a nd quick even when t he temperature is low.

Dusk-to-dawn Operation without Fill-up

A single t ankful of diesel will keep t hese aircooled gensets on the go for 6 ~9.5 hou rs. The secret to such long operation is their low fuel consumption from features like direct injection- a major feat for t his t ype of compact engine. These gensets give savings with every t ankful of diesel. And they have a utility-size fuel t ank, so you can leave t hem running all night.
