Applications are invited for admission to B. Ed. (SEDE) in Bengali Programme at 13 Study Centers. Eligibility criteria: Graduates and/or Masters with atleast 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) Duration: Two years Contact session: 450 hours in four contact sessions, two sessions every year (see Prospectus for details) Specialization in any two School Subjects (SS-1 and SS-2): SS-1 Teaching of English / Bengali; SS-2 Teaching of Science / Mathematics / Social Studies. Specialization in Disability Area: Mental Retardation (M.R.) / Hearing Impairment (H.I.)/ Visually Impairment (V.I). Last date for submission of Application: 29th July2012 Total Course Fees: Rs 20,000 /-

Entrance Test: 5th August2012

Admission will strictly be on merit basis. Reservation for SC/ ST/ OBC/PH candidates will be according to existing State Govt. Rules. Prospectus along with application forms will be available on payment of Rs. 500/- to any of the 13 Study Centres of the University on and from 15th to 28th July2012
