In the following assignment you will be constructing a periodic table. Your periodic table will include key information with regard to atomic structure and physical properties. Carefully complete the table and make sure to check your periodic trends. An example has been completed below for your.

You will construct a periodic table for the first 36 elements. Starting with Hydrogen and ending with Krypton. You must complete cards for each element. Ensure that all the information is correct. Cards must be factually accurate. There are a few rules to keep in mind when completing your card, please see the table below.

Draw Bohr Diagrams following the octet rule (2, 8, 8, 18) Draw Lewis structures to show the valence shell for each element. You must now arrange your cards into a complete periodic table. Start by organizing your cards into proper chemical familieis. The diagram below lists and oranizes the elements into their chemical families. Use this diagram to help you complete this assignment.
