Huawei MA5600: Failure to Go Online for a Multicast User This topic describes how to troubleshoot the fault when

a multicast user (queried on the MA5600T / MA5603T) fails to order any pro ram because of the failure to o online! "hen the MA5600T/MA5603T functions as the #$%AM and a multicast user fails to o online& locate the fault accordin to the followin procedure! Location Method "hen a #$%AM multicast user fails to o online& locate the fault accordin followin procedure' (! )hec* whether the user is in the bloc* state! +! )hec* whether the user port is acti,ated! 3! )hec* whether the pro ram ordered by the user e-ists! .! )hec* whether the user has ri hts to order the pro ram! 5! )hec* the bandwidth )A) function! /ote' To facilitate fault report& sa,e the results of the followin steps! Procedure Step 0un the display i mp user command to query the multicast user status! A 1f the user is in the bloc* state& it indicates that the user is bloc*ed! 1n this case& run the undo i mp user bloc* command to unbloc* the user! Then& proceed to $tep +! 2 1f the user is in the offline state& o to $tep 3! /3T4 1f you need to bloc* a multicast user from watchin a pro ram but not to delete the user (such as a user that is out of ser,ice)& run the i mp user bloc* command to bloc* the user! "hen the user is bloc*ed& the MA5600T/MA5603T forces the user to o offline from the watchin pro ram! 1n addition& the MA5600T/ MA5603T re5ects the user from orderin a pro ram until the user is bloc*ed! Step 5 7roceed accordin to the specific symptom of the fault! l 1f the multicast user oes online first and then oes offline& you need to chec* the modem and the physical line! (! )hec* the status of the %4# on the modem! 1f the %4# indicates that the modem is abnormal& replace the modem with a normal modem! 1f the %4# indicates that the modem is in the normal state& it indicates that the fault is not caused by the modem! (! 0un the display i mp user ser,ice9port (00 command to query the ri ht (authority) profile bound to the user (assume that the 1# of the ser,ice port for the multicast user is (00)! l "hen 2ind profiles is 9& it indicates that authentication is not required and the user can order all pro rams in the M<%A/! >o to $tep ((! l "hen 2ind profiles is 0& it indicates that the user is not bound to any ri ht profile and cannot order any pro ram! 7roceed to $tep =!+

"hen a user is bound to multiple profiles and the pro ram ri hts in the profiles are different& the final pro ram ri ht of the user is determined by the ri ht with the hi hest priority! 2y default& the priority of the pro ram ri hts is forbidden ? pre,iew ? watch ? idle! :ou can run the i mp ri ht9priority command to set the priority! $tep (0 3rder the pro ram with the watch or pre,iew ri ht for the user and chec* whether the pro ram can be watched! l 1f the pro ram can be watched& notify the user that this pro ram needs to be bou ht!
