System Description

Starflex semi-rigid bearingless hub without a drag damper. Modular, fail safe,Greaseless Spar made of fiberglass roving, glass fabric skin. and foam core. Fail safe design Removable sub-assemblies. Mast casing attached by 4 suspension bars which lift the helicopter. Includes servo actuators Modular design attached by flexible bidirectional suspension. There are 2 reduction gear stages 1. bevel gear drive, 2. Epicyclic gear train. Pressure lubrication with oil cooling system, rotor brake and hydraulic pump drive. Two blade hingeless seesaw rotor with glass roving spar. Pitch change through spar twisting. Greaseless fail safe design. Angle reduction gear with splash lubrication Powered by LTS 101 in D (super D) models. Powered by Arriel 1 (B, BA, B1, B2) and Arriel 2 (B3)
