JBL Professional installed audio line-up expands with integration of Duran Audio Intellivox and Axys
HARMAN has incorporated Duran Audios worldclass array of loudspeakers for unique installed sound applications into the JBL Professional brand. With no changes to the products themselves, the rebranding as JBL Intellivox and JBL Axys extends further the industrys most comprehensive installed loudspeaker line-up and presents a clear and unied system solution to end clients. Intellivox loudspeakers are known for delivering unmatched fidelity in some of the most challenging and prestigious venues around the world, where speech intelligibility is a paramount requirement. Crown shipping high-power DriveCore Install amplifiers

Crown Audio is now shipping the four highestpowered models in its DriveCore Install (DCi) Series power amplifiers. Available in both Analogue and Network Ethernet-linkable configurations, the 4-channel and 2-channel amplifiers deliver 1,250 watts per channel into 2, 4 or 8 ohms and 70Vrms and 100Vrms and are designed for applications where the highest amounts of power are required. BSS introduces a cost-effective Soundweb London addition

BSS Audio has released the BLU50, a half-rack width addition to the Soundweb London line and the most cost-eective to date. JBL Commercial Debuts DriveCore Powered Mixer/Amplifiers

The JBL Commercial series continues to expand, with the launch of six new Commercial Series Amplifiers (CSA) and two Commercial Series Mixers (CSM) that combine outstanding value and performance. All CSA amps are just 1U rack space high and a halfrack wide, can operate into 8 ohm and 4 ohm loads and can be used with 70V and 100V distributed audio systems without the need for a separate transformer. All feature a universal power supply for international use and accept an Ethernet control cable for use with the JBL CSR-V wall-mount volume control. The CSA amplifiers incorporate HARMANs proprietary DriveCore amplifier IC, which combines what would be hundreds of conventional parts into a single chip and offers significantly reduced power consumption, size and weight while delivering outstanding sound quality. > http://bit.ly/1eX7uMh

JBL CSS horn speakers

The new JBL Commercial CSS series Paging Horns provide excellent voicerange clarity for public address systems, announcement, paging, intercom, security, alarm and industrial applications. Constructed of sturdy ABS with corrosion-resistant stainless steel hardware, both models include a built-in multi-tap transformer (15 watts for the H15, 30 watts for the H30) for use with 70V and 100V distributed speaker lines as well as 8-ohm operation.

JBL Professional unveils VTX F Series

JBL Professional has introduced the VTX F Series, a premium line of 2-way multipurpose loudspeakers designed to add to the word-class performance of JBLs VTX Series line arrays, and designed in collaboration with Firehouse Productions. JBL PD6000 Series

JBL Professional has announced cost-eective additions to its Precision Directivity Series product line. The PD6000 Series which complement the larger PD700 midhigh systems, with more compact size and greater aordability - is designed for medium to large venues requiring excellent pattern control, high output capability, congurable either individually or in array applications. PD6000s higher SPL capability and larger waveguides also supplement the midsize and compact AE Series systems. There are 14 products in the range which include two and three-way fullrange, mid-high and lowfrequency speakers. JBL launches next generation EON

JBL Professional has announced the first of the next generation of EON600 series loudspeakers. The EON615 15 2-way speaker with 1000W power amplifier, was redesigned from the ground up using JBLs advanced waveguide technology (as found on the M2 and LSR3 series studio monitors) and special fluting which deliver uniform sound on and off axis. Soundcraft announces Si Performer 1

Soundcraft has added to its groundbreaking Si Performer Series digital consoles with the introduction of the Si Performer 1. The Si Performer features 16 faders and 16 mic inputs, but is capable of mixing 80 inputs simultaneously by adding any of the ViSi Connect option cards.

EN54 certification for JBL loudspeakers

JBL Professional has announced that five of its AW Series all-weather loudspeakers have received EN54-24 certification, the EU standard for loudspeakers intended for use in fire detection and fire alarm systems.
