Kedleston Road Derby Completing my course at university enabled me to refine many transferable skills including timekeeping when I had many assignments due at the same time. I also furthered my knowledge of computers and design. During my time at university I discovered that my passion lies in digitalising history and for my final year paper, which involved accurately reconstructing Tutbury Castle, I was invited and subsequently went on to present my paper at the Digital Heritage Congress 2013 in Marseille.

SKILLS
IT
SOFTWARE: I am computer literate and am proficient in all Microsoft Office programs. Since attending University I gained skills in graphic programs including Autodesk Maya, Unreal Development Kit, Unity and Photoshop. Learning how to use new programs is intuitive to me. HARDW ARE: I am also skilled with PC building and troubleshooting. Throughout my life I have built around 10 rigs from IDEs to Sata 3s, Intel and AMD chipsets.

Management & Teamwork

Throughout my time at One Stop I gained valuable management skills. I communicate well and support my peers, striving to get the most from everybody in the team.

Organisation and time-keeping

Throughout my time working and at university I maintained great punctuality and attendance, noted by previous employers. Whilst at university I ensured that my work was consistently completed to a high standard even when under the pressure of a short deadline by breaking assignments down into smaller tasks, prioritising and working through them methodically, allowing me to think about what I need to do next quickly and calmly.

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS

My final year project at university, which I am continuing to produce in my own time, involved researching and reconstructing a medieval castle in 3D, whilst simultaneously writing a paper describing my findings, which was accepted and presented at the International Digital Heritage Congress in France 2013. The project requires extreme attention to detail and a lot of patience as I piece together all of the clues to make my reconstruction as accurate as possible. I take pride in my models as working with 3D is one of my greatest passions along with ancient history and computing. As well as keeping healthy at the gym I also practise Taekwondo, which teaches self-confidence, discipline and perseverance, as well as promoting team spirit during competitions.
