Short Description
Training providing a solid 2G, 3G, and HSPA radio planning knowledge as well as a broad view on the cellular network deployment. It is recommended for E2E and radio planning engineers who wish to not only update themselves to 2G, 3G and HSPA planning aspects, but also to consider a network from a wider perspective.
Objectives
The main objective of the training is to provide a comprehensive walkthrough of the 3G-HSPA radio network planning and optimization process with emphasis on the practicalities of 3G/HSPA dimensioning. Objectives
The main objective of the training is to provide a set of required knowledge enabling engineers to start identifying irregularities in the monitored signaling and initiate troubleshooting. In particular, the trainings provides a detailed view on the RAN signaling in 3G and HSPA networks. In particular, the trainings reviews the architecture, interfaces and the protocols and then presents all major signaling transactions in UTRAN. In the HSPA+ part, all major signaling transactions are identified and presented as well.
