Setting goals is a fantastic business to do, but Im pretty sure that most of us havent achieved most of our goals. Why is that? Are they not as important as other things in our life? If your New Year goal is absolutely important to you and if it is linked with some important milestone of your life you would never fail. You would always be motivated and will be fully committed to achieve that goal of your life. Your university is one of the most renowned universities in the country. If you can see yourself here in your university, you can see yourself anywhere. Take a look at the past and see, this is a university that has trained so many of the countries brightness minds and greatest personalities. None of them became great from their birth, but they achieved their greatness by setting up goals committing themselves fully to achieve those life changing goals. They passionately believed that have the talent within them, they have the experience within them and they have the drive to succeed here at your university and the world outside. So how can you stick to your new year goals? Here are some key facts which will help you to stick on to your goals. 01. Link your goals with your values. The most important thing you need to do is to ensure that your goal is actually of important to you. Understanding your values is the single most important thing you can do to again clarity of what motivates you and what is important to you. 02. Write down your new year goals. It has proven that goals which are written down are much more likely to be achieved. It is because when you write down something its not only a thought in your mind it is also an action that needs to be taken. 03. Create an action plan After setting your New Year goal you need to have an actual plan in making that happen. Without an action plan you will not know what to do to get your goal achieved. 04. Keep company with supportive people. Surrounding yourselves with supportive people is one of the best ways to get accelerated towards your goals. With people who always look backwards, achieving your will not be an easy thing. Even it is mentioned in Dhamma that it is good to be alone than being with unsupportive people. 05. Take daily action. The final essential thing is to take daily action to achieve your goal. Whatever you do make sure you take daily action towards your goal and make it a habit. Sticking to your goal through adversity and challenge is what separates success from failure. Realize that if you work hard enough you could do just as well as anyone else. HUMOUR
The teacher of the earth science class was lecturing on map reading. After explaining about latitude, longitude, degrees and minutes the teacher asked, Suppose I asked you to meet me for lunch at 23 degrees, 4 minutes north latitude and 45 degrees, 15 minutes east longitude? After a confused silence, a voice volunteered, I guess youd be eating alone.
