TODAY Welcome! This morning, we will ordain and install Mr. Terry Holstege to the office of deacon and hear a sermon on Deacons, the Servants of Christ. In the evening, Pastor Steve continues an evening sermon series called Preparing the Pastors We Need. We will also celebrate the Lords Supper in the evening service. Wine is placed in the center & middle of the tray and grape juice on the outside ring. 11:00 AM Sunday School 12:00 PM Fellowship Meal 5:30 PM Evening Service THIS WEEK Tuesday Young Ladies Bible Study @ 7:00 PM Sprik Home Wednesday Midweek Ministries @ 7:00 PM HCS Saturday- Ides of March Banquet @ 5:00 PM - HCS OFFERING This Sundays Benevolent Offering - Our benevolent offering will be received today during both services for the Family LIFE Center. ANNOUNCEMENTS Ides of March Dinner/Mission Trip Fundraiser this Saturday - Dust off your toga and mark your calendar! March 15th, the Ides of March, has been reserved for a Roman banquet for the adults of Cedar, prepared and served by the youth group. The proceeds of this dinner will go to fund the youth group's mission trip to New York this summer. See Lynn Igo or Diana Sprik to purchase your tickets. Help Needed for One of Our Cadets - Caleb Post is collecting pop cans for the entire month of March to help raise funds to cover the cost of his trip to the 2014 Cadet International Camporee in Alberta, Canada. If you have pop cans you would like to donate, please see Caleb, Christopher or Corrie Post for details. ANNOUNCEMENTS Zion Christian Soup Supper -Everyone is invited to a Soup Supper at Zion Christian School on Tuesday, March 11, from 5:00-7:00 pm. Members of the Junior class are eager to serve you delicious, home-made soups. All proceeds benefit the JuniorSenior Banquet. Items Needed for Ministry - Various items are needed in several areas of the Love INC ministry. For the Foster Care Ministry needs include: childrens toothpaste, baby shampoo, baby lotion, diaper ointment, new pacifiers, new baby bottles, new hair brushes, night lights and handmade bags to place the items in. For the Camp Bag Ministry needs include: toothbrushes (for ages 914), travel size toothpaste, new combs, new hair brushes, and flashlights. For the Knitting and Sewing Ministries yarn is needed. Also, mittens of all sizes are needed. If you or your small group are able to fulfill any of these items for ministry, please bring the items to Love In the Name of Christ, Attention Karla, 3300 Van Buren Street, Hudsonville. Tax receipts are available. Substitute Teachers Needed - Zion Christian School is looking for substitute teachers who can teach at the elementary or high school level. Blood Drive - Please help replenish the blood supply by giving blood Friday, March 14, at the Hillcrest C.R.C., located at 3617 Hillcrest Road in Hudsonville. You may call 1-800-RED-CROSS for an appointment or walk in between 11:30 AM and 5:15 PM. A donor card or driver's license is required for I.D. It is recommended to be well-hydrated and to eat a meal four hours or less before giving blood. Michigan law permits 16-year-olds to give with parental consent. See www.redcrossblood.org.

If you need any assistance, please ask one of our ushers for help. SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE Cedar Church strives to enjoy God through Spirit-empowered and Christ-centered worship. A NURSERY is available near the entrance of the gymnasium, but children are always welcome in the worship service.
