Gun Rod Replacement 1V2P

The Gun rod is one of the 3 components that make up the Swing Gun Module. The 3 components are the Gun Nozzle, The Gun Rod and the Gun Cylinder.

The Gun Rod is the component that the Gun nozzle tip is attached to and may need to be replaced from time to time. Gun Rod Replacement: Tools Needed 1) 2.5 mm Allen Wrench 2) #8 Combination wrench 3) Machine Oil Step #1: Disconnect the Vacuum tube from its fitting

Step #2: Remove the 2.5 mm Allen Screw.

Step #3: Unscrew the Nut at the top of the Gun rod, And Unscrew the Gun Rod from Gun Cylinder

Step #4: Clean the Oil and debris out of the Gun Rod Brackets Bushing and oil it:

Mounting the New Gun Rod Insert the new Gun rod into the underside of the bracket and start to screw it onto the Gun Cylinder. Screw it up and then we need to adjust the depth of the gun to the plate.

1) Go to SYSTEM MAG_PF and Choose LEFT side on MAG, then TAB down to GUN and Press SET Bring
the gun over to the left by pressing the LEFT arrow button. Turn the Purple Plate so that when the gun comes down, it will come down between two stones. Press the DOWN arrow Button to bring the gun down. You will see that the nozzle tip is making contact with the plate and we need to adjust it higher so that it does not touch the plate. The distance between the nozzle tip and the plate should be about 3 sheets of paper.

2) Now Turn the Gun Rod, so that it screws up higher or lower towards the plate on the Gun Cylinder Shaft. And watch the distance the Gun Nozzle tip comes away from the plate. When you turn the Gun Rod, it will lift or lower the Gun Nozzle further away or closer to the Plate, Adjust it so that the space between the Gun Nozzle tip and the Plate surface is about 3 sheets of paper, then secure the Gun Rod Nut at the top of the gun Rod.

3) Rotate the Gun Rod so that the Groove and the Fitting are facing front, Re-insert your Allen Screw and insert your vacuum tube. Press the UP and DOWN arrow to confirm the Gun Nozzle tip is no longer contacting the plate. 4) Do a Test run the machine and watch the Parts Feeder plate as the machine operates and when the Sensor Pin comes around the gun when it goes down to it should skip over it and go to the next available hole.

* Be sure not to adjust the Nozzle tip too high as it will not pick up the stone correctly*
