Ejemplos:
Bsico
write (escribir) look (mirar)
s
writes (escribe) looks (mira)
-ing
writing (escribendo) looking (mirando)
pasado
wrote (escribi) looked (mir)
pasado participio
written (escrito) looked (mirado)
To Have (haber) para formar los tiempos perfectos. Would para formar el condicional. Do Does Did para formar el negativo e interrogativo del presente y pasado simples.
Verbo To Be (ser estar) Presente Simple I am You are He is She is It is We are You are They are Pasado Simple I was You were He was She was It was We were You were They were Verbo To Have (haber como auxiliar) Presente Simple I have You have He has She has It has We have You have They have Pasado Simple I had You had He had She had It had We had You had They had Futuro Simple I will have You will have He will have She will have It will have We will have You will have They will have Futuro Simple I will be You will be He will be She will be It will be We will be You will be They will be
Do - Does - Did (auxiliares para formar el negativo e interrogativo del Presente y Pasado Simples) Presente Simple I do (not) You do (not) He does (not) She does (not) It does (not) We do (not) You do (not) They do (not) Pasado Simple I did (not) You did (not) He did (not) She did (not) It did (not) We did (not) You did (not) They did (not)
I You He She It We You They work work works works works work work work (Yo) trabajo (Usted) trabaja (l) trabaja (Ella) trabaja trabaja (Nosotros-as) trabajamos (Uds.) trabajan (Ellos-as) trabajan
Forma Afirmativa I work (yo trabajo) You work He works She works It works We work You work They work Forma Negativa I do not work (yo no trabajo) You do not work He does not work She does not work It does not work We do not work You do not work They do not work Forma Interrogativa Do I work? (trabajo?) Do you work? Does he work? Does she work? Does it work? Do we work? Do you work? Do they work?
En conversaciones es muy comn contraer do not y does not por dont y doesnt, respectivamente.
I did not (=didnt) listen to her. (No la escuch.) He did not study for the exam. (No estudi para el examen.) Did you understand the problem? (Entendi el problema?) Where did they go yesterday? Por ejemplo: I will get the scholarship. (Obtendr la beca.) You will work in this office. (Ud. Trabajar en esta oficina.) We will study it very carefully. (Lo estudiaremos muy cuidadosamente.) She will type the report. (Tipear el informe.)
10
Para formar el interrogativo, invertimos el orden del auxiliar y verbo principal: Will you finish the report soon? (Terminar el informe pronto?) Will they arrive on time? (Arribarn a tiempo?) Para formar la negacin se agrega not al auxiliar: I will not see you. (No lo ver.) We will not be here tomorrow. (No estaremos aqu maana.) TIEMPOS CONTINUADOS: Todos los tiempos continuados se forman con el verbo TO BE y la forma -ing del verbo principal: 1. Presente Continuo: I am writing. (Estoy escribiendo.) They are studying. (Estn estudiando.) Is she working in the new department? (Est trabajando en la nueva seccin?) He is not working there. (No est trabajando all.) 2. Pasado Continuo: She was studying for the exam. (Estaba estudiando para el examen.) They were repairing the computer. (Estaban arreglando la computadora.) Were they working? (Estaban trabajando?) He was not repairing the system. (No estaba arreglando el sistema.) TIEMPOS PERFECTOS: Se forman con el auxiliar TO HAVE y el pasado participio del verbo principal. 1. Presente Perfecto: Se forma: have / has + participio pasado del verbo principal. Por ejemplo: She has typed the report. (Ha tipeado el informe.) They have changed the computers. (Han cambiado las computadoras.) I have been here before. (He estado aqu antes.) La negacin se forma agregando NOT despus de HAVE / HAS, y la interrogacin invirtiendo el orden del auxiliar y el sujeto:

(Cuando llegu el gerente se haba ido) When she left, I had eaten my sandwich. When he arrived, they had not finished the report.
