DE,INI ION O, E"MS 2.1 2.2 Exhibition refers to the sho$in! of animals in #ublic and%or #rivate #laces. Dog Show refers to the e&hibition of do!s sho$in! their conformation s#ecial s'ills tric's and #erformance in com#etition and entertainment sho$s before the #ublic or any interested #arties. Show Veterinarian refers to a veterinarian accredited by the Animal (elfare )ivision *A()) of the +ureau of Animal ,ndustry *+A,) $ho shall #ossess a valid -rofessional .e!ulation /ommission *-./) ,) and an u#dated -rofessional 0a& .ecei#t *-0.). Dog Show Entry refers to any do! es#ecially trained and listed as a #erformer e&hibitor and com#etitor entered into the sho$ area #remises on the occasion of a do! sho$. Show Area refers to the entire venue $ithin the #erimeter of the sho$ and shall include the follo$in! areas: re!istration veterinary e&amination rest and s#ectator areas and sho$ rin! . 1

"#LES AND "E!#LA IONS 3.1 All do! sho$s shall have a #ermit from the A() of the +A, or throu!h the de#uti6ed Animal (elfare 3fficers in the re!ions and #rovinces. 0here shall be at least t$o *2) sho$ veterinarians durin! the sho$. Sho$ #ara#hernalia and area shall not cause distress injury and #hysical discomfort to the do!s. 0he or!ani6ers shall #rovide an area for veterinary e&amination tables at the entry that is shaded or in a $ell7ventilated or air7 conditioned area. Sho$ veterinarians shall be #resent durin! the entire duration of the sho$ to e&amine all do! sho$ entries to attend to emer!encies and to ensure that the rules and re!ulations of the Animal (elfare Act #ertainin! to sho$s are #ro#erly im#lemented. All do! entries shall have been e&amined by a sho$ veterinarian before enterin! the sho$ rin! or area. 0his e&amination shall include amon! other thin!s the #hysical fitness of the do! the #resence or absence of a communicable disease evidence of maltreatment or cruelty uncontrolled a!!ressiveness con!enital defect etc. All do!s shall have an u#dated vaccination a!ainst hi!hly conta!ious diseases such as but not limited to diseases caused by canine #arvovirus canine distem#er virus canine adenovirus canine #ara7 influen6a virus. 0his shall be certified by a veterinarian $ith an u#dated -./ license and -0.. As re;uired by la$ all do! sho$ entries shall have been vaccinated a!ainst rabies by a licensed veterinarian $ith an u#dated -./ license and -0.. . Such vaccination shall be no less than 30 days and no more than one year at the time of the sho$. After a year the succeedin! boosters shall be !iven $ithin t$o months. -roofs of vaccination shall be #resented to the sho$ veterinarian $ith the same re;uirements as 3.9. All do!s shall be #ro#erly controlled e.!. do!s shall be on leashes or ca!es before durin! and after the sho$ e&ce#t $hen the do!s are #erformin!. 4mer!ency 'it and medicines shall be #rovided by the sho$ or!ani6ers as #rescribed by the desi!nated sho$ veterinarians at all times durin! the sho$. A vehicle shall be made available to trans#ort injured do!s to veterinary clinics or hos#itals.

=o do!s shall be #laced inside a vehicle des#ite air7conditionin! $hile $aitin! for its turn to be sho$n. =on7sho$ do!s or other s#ecies of animals not listed as a com#etitor or #erformer in the sho$ area are #rohibited and are banned from the #remises to #revent baitin! $hich is considered cruelty to animals. Any #erson $ho shall commit cruel acts such as but not limited to the ne!lect to #rovide ade;uate care $ater and shelter of do!s durin! the entire duration of the sho$ shall be #enali6ed accordin!ly. -ossession of no&ious substances cruel im#lements firearms and the li'e $ithin the sho$ area shall constitute violation of this !uideline and the Animal (elfare Act" #rovided ho$ever that #olicemen%security !uards assi!ned to secure and #rotect the sho$ shall be e&em#ted from the ban on carryin! firearms. Smo'in! in the sho$ rin! and in the rest areas of the do!s shall be strictly #rohibited. =o sho$ shall be held in the o#en field bet$een 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 #.m. After every do! sho$ a #ost activity re#ort shall be submitted by the sho$ veterinarians to the A() certifyin! com#liance $ith a##licable rules and re!ulations of this administrative order.

PENAL P"O+ISIONS >iolation of any of the #rovisions of this .ules and .e!ulations shall be #enali6ed in accordance $ith the la$.

SEPA"A'ILI ) (LA#SE ,n case any #rovision of this .ules and .e!ulations is declared contrary to la$ and%or unconstitutional other #rovisions $hich are not affected thereby shall continue to be enforced and in effect.

"EPEALIN! (LA#SE All Administrative 3rders .ules and .e!ulations and other administrative issuance or #arts thereof inconsistent $ith the #rovisions of this .e!ulation are hereby re#ealed or modified accordin!ly.

Section 0&
