Senior High Schools is the level of secondary education in formal education in Indonesia after graduating from Junior High School (or equivalent). High school is within 3 years, ranging from grade 10 to grade 12. In the second year or Grade 11, high school students can choose one of 3 existing majors, namely Science, Social, and Language. But in the SMA N 1 Banjar language majors are not held. At the end of the third year or Grade 12, students are required to follow the National Examination (formerly Ebtanas) that affect students' graduation. High school graduates can continue their education to college or directly to work. First, Secondary Schools in Indonesia is generally using gray-white uniform for the day weekday, brown uniforms for scout / day given, and in certain schools to use a white uniform and white for the flag ceremony. At our school, SMA N 1 Banjar on Monday until Tuesday use a uniform gray-white , Wednesday to Thursday using batik uniforms and Friday and Saturday using scout uniform. Sometimes there is one student who intentionally violates such as a pencil-shaped pants, too tight clothing etc. Second, SKS is an acronym for the semester credit units. SKS system is used mostly in college. With this system, students are allowed to choose their own courses that will he take in one semester, but this system is also scheduled to be held in our school. But because they still minimal knowledge about the SKS system, many students do not agree on the procurement plan for the system. Third, at our school also hold the school system cultured environment (SBL), on Thursdays throughout the school community did not bring the motor into the school. in the SBL system, every hour of the end of the lesson always together held picket get champion Gatot Kaca trophy as cleanest while getting the dirtiest champion trophy Citrasoma. But often students who are lazy picket ran away from her class. The conclution, as a student to obey school rules and regulations. Since learning of discipline is the key to success.

SMA adalah jenjang pendidikan menengah pada pendidikan formal di Indonesia setelah lulus Sekolah Menengah Pertama (atau sederajat). Sekolah menengah atas ditempuh dalam waktu 3 tahun, mulai dari kelas 10 sampai kelas 12. Pada tahun kedua atau kelas 11, siswa SMA dapat memilih salah satu dari 3 jurusan yang ada, yaitu Sains, Sosial, dan Bahasa. Tetapi di SMA N 1 Banjar tidak diadakan jurusan bahasa.Pada akhir tahun ketiga ataui kelas 12, siswa diwajibkan mengikuti Ujian Nasional (dahulu Ebtanas) yang memengaruhi kelulusan siswa. Lulusan SMA dapat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi atau langsung bekerja. Sekolah menengah atas negeri di Indonesia umumnya menggunakan seragam putih abuabu untuk hari hari biasa, seragam coklat untuk pramuka/ hari tertentu, dan pada sekolah-sekolah tertentu menggunakan seragam putih-putih untuk upacara bendera.Di sekolah kami, SMA N 1 Banjar pada hari senin sampai selasa menggunakan seragam putih abu, hari rabu sampai kamis menggunakan seragam batik dan hari jum'at dan sabtu menggunakan seragam pramuka. Kadangkadang ada salah satu siswa yang sengaja melanggar seperti celana yang berbentuk pensil, baju terlalu ketat dll SKS adalah singkatan dari satuan kredit semester. Sistem SKS ini digunakan umumnya di perguruan tinggi. Dengan sistem ini, mahasiswa dimungkinkan untuk memilih sendiri mata kuliah yang akan ia ambil dalam satu semester, tetapi sistem ini rencananya juga akan diadakan di sekolah kami. Tetapi karena masih minimnya pengetahuan tentang SKS, banyak siswa tidak setuju atas rencana pengadaan sistem tersebut. Di sekolah kami juga mengadakan sistem sekolah berbudaya lingkungan (SBL), setiap hari kamis seluruh warga sekolah tidak membawa motor ke dalam sekolah. di dalam sistem SBL, setiap pulang sekolah diadakan piket bersama dan juara terbersih mendapatkan piala gatot kaca sementara juara terkotor mendapatkan piala Citrasoma. Namun seringkali siswa yang malas piket kabur dari kelasnya . Kesimpulanya yaitu sebagai seorang siswa mentaati peraturan sekolah yang berlaku. Karena belajar disiplin adalah kunci keberhasilan.
