Ensure that Jackson University is clearly differentiated from all competitors. Audit other major competitors for use of specific visual elements and style. Develop design concepts that are uniquely different from competitors while still communicating Jackson Universitys commitment of encouraging students to discover, to challenge, and to lead. Develop design concepts that make all products instantly recognizable as Jackson University products, while making each attractive to the specific target audience, and powerfully reinforce the primary messages of Jackson Universitys commitment of encouraging students to discover, to challenge, and to lead. Establish design guidelines that reflect the history and the future of the organization. Build on brand heritage by not altering the brand logo in any way, but also allowing the brand to appear more contemporary by utilizing the brand logo in more contemporary physical environments. Display historical photos with the logo.
