"A PURE LANGUAGE"

Therefore wait ye upon ME, saith , until the day that I rise up to the prey: for MY
determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them MINE indignation,
even all MY fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of MY jealousy.
For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the NAME of , to serve
HIM with one consent. Zephaniah 3:8-9

This prophecy for the Millennial Kingdom indicates that a pure language will be restored. Do THE
SCRIPTURES give us any clues as to what the pure language is? In the Hebrew text of verse 8, every letter of the
Hebrew alphabet is used in this verse. Remarkably, this is the only time this occurs in the entire Hebrew text of
the Old Testament!
For those not familiar with the Hebrew alphabet, the chart below shows Zephaniah 3:8 in Hebrew and in a literal
English translation. Each Hebrew letter is color coded and numbered for clarification. See the Hebrew alphabet
legend to see the names of the letters that correspond to each number.

The name Zephaniah (Hebrew: `.S Tsphanyah) means has concealed or has hidden.
Our made another subtle reference to the Hebrew language in HIS famous sermon on the mount.

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till
all be fulfilled. Matthew 5:17-18

In verse 18, the word jot is translated from the Greek word !"#$ (iota). Iota ! is the 9th letter of the
Greek alphabet. It is strikingly similar to the Hebrew letter Yodh `. If we contrast the hook at the end of the
Iota with the Yodh, the resemblance is brought to light.

The Greek alphabet is actually derived from the Paleo-Hebrew/Phoenician form of the Hebrew alphabet. On a
similar token, the Latin alphabet is derived from the Greek alphabet.

This is a fascinating and in-depth subject for another study let us return to the subject of Matthew 5:17-18. In
verse 18, the word tittle is translated from the Greek word %&'$($ (keraia). A tittle refers to the little lines
and projections used in writing the Hebrew alphabet. Some letters may look very similar to one another but the
minute pen strokes make them distinct. In fact, one Hebrew letter is often formed from dissected tittles from
other letters. For example, the letter Teth I is comprised of a Zayin l and a Yodh `. The letter Waw ` is a Yodh
with a prolonged stem attached to it.

The tittle of a Yodh that is referring to called a |` (qots ). It is a small serif at the bottom of
the face of the Yodh. Curiously, it is the smallest of all markings in the Hebrew writing system.

Is it any coincidence that the jot that mentioned is a Yodh the Hebrew letter that has the tiniest, most
inconspicuous tittle? Not to mention that the Yodh is the first letter in the THE CREATORS NAME, .
said HE came in HIS FATHERS NAME (John 5:43), whose NAME is referred to as (or )
in Psalms 68:4.
The word %&'$($ is used in only one other verse in the New Testament:

And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle [%&'$($*] of the law to fail. Luke 16:17

Reflecting back to Matthew 5:18, is essentially telling us that not one Yodh (jot) or qots (tittle)
the tiniest, most obscure pen stroke shall not pass from the TORAH (Hebrew: ` law) until heaven and
earth pass away (Revelation 21:1).
At the Tower of Babel, confused the tongues of men, which was a catalyst for the diverse languages
of the earth (Genesis 11:1-9). Initially, they all spoke language and at Pentecost, through a miracle of
, everyone understood each others language (Acts 2). Is it possible that the cloven
tongues of fire at Pentecost (Acts 2:3) that the disciples were speaking was the Ancient Hebrew, since
is like a fire (Jeremiah 23:29)? Was this perhaps a miraculous return to the pure language
spoken before the Tower of Babel? We can see by a brief history of the Hebrew, Greek and Latin alphabets that
every language had a common original source. In HIS KINGDOM, the pure language will be the Ancient Hebrew
tongue which is starkly different than Modern Hebrew.
