Composition I hereby create the City of Los Santos Driving Rules and Regulations initiative. This initiative will be led by Deputy Director of the Department of Motor vehicles.
Mayor Amy DeMont Executive Directive No.1 Page 2 of 2 Regulations: You must have a valid driving license. You must be over the age of sixteen. You must be registered with the DMV. If anything changes, such as license plate or tax disk, you must notify the DMV before using your vehicle. You must service your vehicle every year and have a general check at the garage to make sure you (OBL) the vehicle to be able to drive on the streets. You must have the vehicles registration documents in your vehicles glove-box or other relevant place at all times. If you have a disability/mental health, you must notify the DMV about it.
Rules: Drive on the right side of the road except to overtake when safe. On a duel lane system, you must drive in the lane you would like to exit on. On a highway, only brake if there is a hazard. Speed limits: Car Park: 15KPH, Residential: 45KPH, Duel Lane/outer: 90KPH, highway: 120KPH, country-side, 55KPH, other roads within the city: 60KPH. During a hazard, switch on your hazard lights. When parking on a hill, turn your wheels into the sidewalk and leave your gear in reverse or gear one depending on which adjacent way you are, also remember the handbrake. When approaching a B-Z-R, place a blinker (indicator) on in which direction you are turning, position yourself for the turn, then bring the vehicle to a complete stop on the white lines, check both ways, then pull off if safe to do so. Always drive in the correct gear to stay economic friendly. When parking, never park your vehicle on the sidewalk. You must park your vehicle in a safe spot on the road, car park or driveway, it is now a law that all wheels must be on the road and not two on the road and two on the sidewalk. When meeting traffic, give-way or wait to be given. When performing an emergency stop, brake first then push in the clutch just before you stop. This will continue to ABS and avoid skidding. If your vehicle starts to skid, turn your steering wheel to direction you are skidding. When following another vehicle on a fast-road, stay 2 to 3 seconds behind them to give enough breaking distance for you to stop if there is an emergency.
