To plan, organize and monitor all process related Engineering activities in Process to meet the Job Purpose production targets and other customer requirements, in accordance with the requirements of TP 13, GSK- GES, QMS & EHS guidelines, in the most cost-effective manner in line with the Operational Excellence culture. Accountability Area of Responsibility Responsible for availability of process related services to meet the manufacturing target and other customer requirements Responsible for providing mechanical support for implementation of new/replacement projects. Responsible for employee engagement and empowerment in process engineering section. Responsible for competency assessment of technicians of process engineering section. Energy manager for site.

1. Ensure the availability of process related services to meet the manufacturing target and other customer requirements. 2. Introduce technological change, for improved Quality, GMP & Safety and cost effectiveness. 3. Monitor implementation of work procedure under Quality, TQM, GMP for ISO 9002 compliance. 4. Implement CAMMS effectively to eliminate breakdowns in process area 5. Conceptualize and carry out capital projects for Capacity Enhancement., Technological Upgradation, Statutory, Legal and Social Requirements and Major Replacements. Expected Delivery 6. Ensure Calibration of process control instruments. 7. Involve in all EHS activities to ensure safe working conditions to minimize the accidents . 8. Implement TP 13 / GES guidelines, GSK guidelines on QMS & EHS and strive to achieve Operational Excellence in all the areas. 9. Ensure QMS / EHS / GES requirements are understood and being followed to bring improvements, avoid non compliance during the audits and promote occupational health and safety through proper handling of maintenance activities to achieve accident free work environment. Familiarity and commitment to standard EHS 101 and ensure compliance to the applicable EHS standards 202, 206, 302, 501, 502, 604, 606 and 709. 10. To ensure implementation and sustenance of mitigation plans as directed. 11. To identify the gaps in their area of operation and escalate to HOD.

The job consists of ensuring high reliability and availability of assets of the following nature Production Plant (Mashing, MEE, Evaporator, Malt Grinding, Ovens, Dairy plant etc)

1. Arrange G shift & shift strength for maintenance activities. Managerial Responsibility 2. Coach and develop workmen to equip them with essential skills to achieve individual & functional goals. 3. Involve, align & commit to implement in all EHS activities to ensure safe working conditions to minimize accidents, administer site permit program, energy conservation program, conserving natural resources like water, electricity, steam etc. 4. Arrange man and materials for shift activities 5. Ensure safety standards In use

Budget Responsibility

To prepare OPEX and CAPEX budgets and maintain tracking. To maintain MIS. Prepare and monitor 3 -1 plan budgets like Revenue, Capitals, Labor, Work Services to meet targeted requirements and controls.

Experience/Know ledge/Technical Skills Required

Qualification & Experience

Graduate / Post graduate in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering. 5-6 years of experience in the Engg / Utilities department of any process industry, preferably

food industry. QMS & GMP Standards of Food Industry.

Computer Aided Maintenance Management Systems. Knowledge on Environment, Quality & Safety aspects. Awareness of the ETCM/ GES guidelines applicable to all GSK Consumer Healthcare.

Skills to resolve technical problems arising due to mishandling of equipment due to illiterate workforce
Knowledge

Updated technical knowledge

Knowledge of GSK policies and procedures Knowledge of GES related to mechanical Knowledge of applicable SOPs, GQPs, GQMPs.

GMP Standards of Food Industry. Computer Aided Maintenance Management System. Total Productive Maintenance concepts International Standards of Engineering Specifications.
