Hey Fella, Vote Daniela Candidate Platform and Information for KCC REP ______________________________________________
Based on Four Key Concepts.... TO INVOLVE TO COMMUNICATE TO HELP TO LOVE ______________________________________________________________________ TO INVOLVE: It is important for the student voice to be heard on the King!s College Council. If it were not for the students, this educational institution would not exist. It is important to involve students in making decisions based on their experience and their involvement at King!s internally and the Western, London and outer communities. TO COMMUNICATE: For anything to exist, communication is key. I have a wonderful attendance record on the KUCSC this year and plan on attending every meeting if elected this position. I plan on actively participating, speaking out the truth in matters and communicating the important voice of a student. I also plan on communicating with the KUCSC and the student body for everyone to be knowledgable of what is being discussed in both councils. TO HELP: If elected this position, I am more than eager to help the student body. I am currently involved with multiple organizations and ofces here at King!s including the International Ofce, Campus Ministry, KUCSC, Registrar Ofce and do use resources in academic counseling. I am more than willing to share my experiences and refer you to proper direction. King!s has a reputation of being a family and that reputation is true. A family helps one another succeed and if elected, I plan on being an advocate of this. TO LOVE: This may seem as a bizarre point on my platform but really it is the essential core of my candidacy. Words cannot express my love for King!s, for it!s students, faculty, programs and so much more! Because of this love, I want to help and contribute to this school in the best possible manner that I can. I want to be involved, I want to encourage others to be involved, attend events, communicate, and to help each and every one of you to the best of my ability. A saying of mine is that one of the best decisions in my life was the decision to apply to King!s and accept my offer here. The opportunities are countless and with the love for education and experience, it will keep motivating me to be the best student I can be and help foster the student experience as a whole!

______________________________________________________________________ PLATFORM INITIATIVES: -Better communication between ofces and faculties when organizing events so the school as a whole is knowledgable about these main events and support one another -Bring forth honest student opinion to both the KCC and KUCSC -Take into count the diversity of King!s when voting and making important decisions -Be approachable and provide better communication to the student body of initiatives and issues taking place in both councils -Promote events and King!s initiatives at large through social media -Speaking and communicating to faculties and professors -Being informed with all decisions made -Being attentive, dedicated and present to the council meetings -Approachable through communication at large, from face-to-face, social media and technology -Be a true voice to the students and for the students! ______________________________________________________________________ DANIELA!S EXPERIENCE PROFILE -Currently the KUCSC Environmental Commisioner -Was nominated and elected one of six in Canada to be on the Canadian Catholic Students! Association of 2014 -Elected the National President of the Canadian Catholic Students! Association of 2014 -Currently an International Peer Guide at King!s -Work as a tour guide to prospective students -Involved with the Cultural Festival and is the choreographer and a performer of the Polish Dances -In July 2014 - going to travel to the Northwest Territories and is going to experience inculturation through spirituality as the Pine Channel Experience offered here, at King!s -Ongoing private piano teacher and has obtained her Royal Conservatory of Music Diploma -Works with children and adults as a piano teacher -Involved in local parish as a singer and plays the keyboard for the youth band, altar serves and teaches children and youth to communion and conrmation -Holds a summer job at a Polish meat store
