-Must know how to safely use the glue gun, and has already experience in using it. -Must have basic knowledge, or has already mastered the art of basket weaving. -Must possess adequate knowledge about the market, its needs and demands, the projected customers and the financial capability of the possible customers. -Must know where to get enough newspapers in order to lessen the cost of buying them.

-Glues the pieces of paper to form the base of the baskets

-Weaves the 1 newspapers in order to make baskets

-Finds what the 1-2 markets current needs and estimates the right price of the products to be sold

-Collects enough newspapers for the project

Type of Compensation
Weekly wage with a set number of baskets to weave Employees will be paid on a weekly basis; given that they will accomplish the set numbers of basket that each must weave.

Gain sharing During the year, Maroon 5 Crafts will distribute frequent payouts or bonuses. This is to reinforce good performance for the employees. Also, gain sharing spells out clearly what employees need to do to achieve a short term goal and what will happen when they do achieve it.

Performance Incentives Based on Herzbergs Motivational Theory: Employee of the Month (Recognition & Achievement) To become a candidate for being the employee of the month, the employee must meet the following requirement: perfect attendance, good evaluation from peers, must demonstrate initiative, must have good communication skills, be receptive of corrective actions or suggestions, take initiative to rectify any areas of concern, consistently adheres to all policies and procedures of all Maroon 5 Crafts and is always punctual for scheduled meetings, events, or activities. Employee of the month committee will meet second to the last Friday of the month to determine a winner based on the criteria mentioned above. If an Employee of the month committee is nominated, he/she will be excused from voting for that month. Employee of the month will receive the following: certificate, gift checks, automatic nomination for employee of the year, will be recognized in the Maroon 5 Crafts Facebook page, website, and newsletter.

Seminars and Trainings (Advancement, Growth and Job Interest) Maroon 5 Crafts will provide leadership seminars every end of the quarter to empower employees and broaden their knowledge about the work being done. Trainings can also be conducted for the employees to become more honed in their own crafts. The bottom line is for Maroon 5 Crafts employees to excel in their own respective assigned jobs. Offering training and development opportunities can also help to make employees pursue the positions they want within the company. Employee Empowerment (Responsibility) Employee empowerment is a strategy and philosophy that enables employees to make decisions about their jobs. It helps employees own their work and take responsibility for their results.
