On Behalf of, GreyhoundLegal.com Preamble: Greyhound Legal.com is statewide in scope, and the company solicits business from and does business with customers located throughout the United States. Accordingly, as an independent contractor you signed a noncompete agreement on April 13th 2013 prohibiting engagement with GreyhoundLegal.com directly or indirectly whether as a firm, person, partnership, corporation, employee, or independent contractor, officer, director, agent, security holder, creditor, consultant, or otherwise for a term of five years within eighty miles of the business location. Cease and Desist We have recently learned of your intent to solicit Loan Signing Services, Process Serving, and Courier Services within Washington State and a negative portrayal of GreyhoundLegal.com to its current and future customers. While we welcome fair competition, we cannot tolerate breach of contract, unfair business practices, and disparages of the business. This misdirects current and future customers and puts reputation at risk, and the company at a disadvantage. We expect that you would be equally offended if the tables were turned. In light of the above, GreyhoundLegal.com respectfully demands that you cease and desist soliciting and working with any Title company, Loan signing service, or Attorney for any of the following related work including. Legal messenger services, Courier work, and Courtesy Loan Signings within 80 miles of Greyhound Legals service area. Working directly or indirectly and engaging in business is a violation of the non-compete agreement signed by you on April 13th 2013. Your unauthorized actions are directed at confusing Greyhound Legals current customer base and thus far have caused substantial harm to the business trade-name, and its business relationships. Not only are your actions diluting efforts but further demonstrates your campaign to disrupt future earnings by perverting, misleading, and deceiving customers for unjust personal gain. Your actions to solicit customers constitute a recovery of damages by Greyhound Legal for tortious interference with those business relationships, but you are also liable for harm caused by libel, calumny, and slander. Greyhound Legal may seek statutory damages, actual damages, as well as injunctive relief.
