CHAPTER IV RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

This chapter presents the research findings and the analysis of the data gathered.

Table 1.1 shows the pre-test results of the students of IV-Falcon before peer teaching on the topic Electric Circuit. The over-all result of the students pre-test gathered was 246 out of 1,200, since the researchers have 30 respondents and a forty-item test was given to them. So 1,200 is the result.

Table 1.2 shows the post-test results of the students of IV-Falcon after they underwent peer teaching. Results show that the scores of the students increased two times compared to the scores during the pre-test. Table 2 shows the difference between the test results of the IV-Falcon students in electric circuit before and after peer teaching. The researchers have given the pre-test to the thirty students of IV-Falcon before peer teaching and the post test was given after peer teaching. The gathered mean for the pre-test results is 8.2 while the gathered mean for the post-test results is 15.23. B. Table 3 shows the T-Test results of the difference between the test results of the IV-Falcon students in Electric circuit before and after peer teaching. The variable, pre-test has 1 treatment, a mean value of 8.2 and a standard deviation of 2.93. The other variable, post-test, has 1 treatment, a mean value of 15.23 and a standard deviation of 2.34 with both variables having a degree of freedom of 58. As shown in the table, the critical value of 1.6715 is less than the computed value of 10.27, so the decision is to reject Ho. The decision implies that there is a significant difference between the test results of the IV-Falcon students in Electric circuit before and after peer teaching on a 0.05 level of significance.
