PHIL SO GOOD
A CATCHY TUNE PROMOTING THE PHILIPPINES
"Phil So Good" is a song by French pop artist Julien Drolon featuring Kapuso TV actress Rhian Ramos providing the rap part and back up vocals. It was released as the lead single for Julien's debut album entitled "Phil So Good". The song was written by Julien Drolon and Leal Nanca, and was produced by Julien in the Belhaus Studio. Musically, "Phil So Good" is a funky-pop song backed by a ukulele rhythm and flawless synths. The lyrics in French, English and Tagalog refer to Julien's appreciation of the Philippines and the places he visited in our country. With it's infectious chorus and the solid chemistry of Julien and Rhian's vocals, "Phil So Good" might refuse to leave your head.

JULIEN'S MUSICAL JOURNEY FROM INTERNATIONAL REPORTER TO INTERNATIONAL SINGER

Julien's musical journey started in 2007 when he arrived for the first time in the Philippines. Although Julien was still working as an international reporter where he published several reports in the USA Today, the Economist and the New York Times Magazine, he decided to learn the guitar and write his own songs. Following a spiritual journey in Mexico in 2008, he realized that his biggest dream was to become an international artist and contribute to promote peace and unity through music. A few months after his arrival in Manila, Julien met Jimmy Antiporda, one of the most respected producers in the Philippines who recently worked with Charice and Maria Aragon. After listening to Julien's song "No More Divisions", Jimmy offered to produce and make a music video for the song.

Following the release of the video on YouTube, Julien has been invited to play at the Asian Music Conference, Music Matter Festival, held in Hong Kong in May 2010. The same year, Julien performed at the opening of the China Music Industry Park in Shanghai. Since then, his music video has been aired on Myx, Channel V and Kiss Tv in Spain. Julien officially launched his career in the Philippines in 2011 with his first SM Mall Tour, performing in 20 cities in Metro Manila. The same year, he performed at the Panagbenga Flower Festival in Baguio and opened for the first Malasimbo Festival in Puerto Galera. Julien's music has been noted for displaying a wide variety of styles and influences, including pop, funk, reggae and hip hop.
