Dont sweat the Small Stuff!

Life can sometimes get to the point where it seems as if its nothing but a bunch of burdens. Actually, if you follow the news or even just look around you, theres plenty you could get upset about. I want remind you this month that compared to God and what He can and will do in your life, everything else is small stuff! Now, Im not trying to belittle what youre facing. But when we begin to worry about the situations around us, we magnify the possibility of failure and disappointment in our own minds. And eventually we can get to the point of not trusting God. We can forget how big our Lord really is. We must continually renew our minds to what the Word says to keep them from getting cluttered with the mess of the world. Matthew 11:28 says, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heaven laden, and I will give you rest. Philippians 4:6 says, Do not be anxious about anything. First Peter 5:7 tell us, Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Get hold of these words and dont turn loose of them! Begin to grasp the truth that God is greater than any problem youll ever face. Instead of fretting about circumstances , focus on the Lord faithfulness. Instead of pondering your problems, begin to press into His promises. Instead of wallowing in worry, begin to worship your Heavenly Father. Wallowing: Chafurdando Deliver: Livrar, libertar. Plenty: copioso, abundante. Upset: aborrecido, chateado. Belittle: diminuir, menosprezar. Mess: baguna, imundcie, desordem. Fretting: Agitao, irritao. Worldwide: pelo mundo todo.
