weeks ater the stake president submits the Missionary Online
Recommendation lorms to Church headquarters. I senior
missionaries are assigned within their country o residence, they
generally begin serice one to two months ater receiing their mission

missionaries. 1here are many opportunities to sere ull-time missions.
Some missions can accommodate couples who want to lie in their
Fth-wheel trailer, trael trailer, or motor home.

o possible assignments may take into account languages preiously
learned as a missionary, een though some brush-up may be needed.
\hether or not a language is required, i you are going to a country
where another language is spoken you may participate in one-on-one

the day-to-day coordinators o Stake \oung Single Adult Programs.
Responsibilities include training and mentoring young single adults and

Opportunities exist or couples desiring to sere at isitors` centers and
church historic sites. 1he majority o these assignments are Flled in
January and begin in March. In order to be aailable to sere, couples
should submit their Missionary Recommendation lorms beore the
end o the prior year. Calls range in length rom six to 23 months.
Missionaries should be in good health and able to perorm physically
demanding actiities. 1hey should expect to spend most o their
six-hour shit each day standing and walking. At historic sites, this

Brigham \oung Uniersity. It was established in 1989 to proide

Submit your Missionary Recommendation lorms on the Internet using
the Missionary Online Recommendation System ,Aailable in most
countries, check with your priesthood leader,. Languages enabled or
online recommend: Lnglish, Portuguese, Spanish.
\hen prospectie senior missionaries complete the Missionary Online
Recommendation lorms, they are encouraged to indicate their interests
and preerences regarding where and how they would like to sere.
Please remember, assignments are made by the Lord through lis or-
dained Apostles, and prospectie missionaries should be willing to sere
whereer and in whateer capacity they are called.

1. Ask your bishop to initiate your online recommendation.

hae an LDS account, type your user name and password on the
Missionary Online Recommendation System sign-in page.

. Complete each section in the candidate checklist.
8. Print out the medical and dental orms to be completed by your
physician and dentist. \ou should not schedule your exams until
you hae completed your medical inormation in the system. \our
stake president should call us at ,801, 240-6856 or inormation
about completing lie at home missionary medical and dental orms.
9. Accept and sign the priacy and release o inormation agreement.
,lor couples, each spouse must sign in separately using their LDS
user name and password and complete this step., 1his is required
beore submitting your recommendation to your bishop.
