Senior missionaries should receie their mission call our to six
weeks ater the stake president submits the Missionary Online
Recommendation lorms to Church headquarters. I senior
missionaries are assigned within their country o residence, they
generally begin serice one to two months ater receiing their mission
call. I they are assigned to sere in a oreign country, it may take up to
six months to obtain passports and isas.

missionaries. 1here are many opportunities to sere ull-time missions.
Some missions can accommodate couples who want to lie in their
Fth-wheel trailer, trael trailer, or motor home.

loreign language skills are needed in many locations. Consideration
o possible assignments may take into account languages preiously
learned as a missionary, een though some brush-up may be needed.
\hether or not a language is required, i you are going to a country
where another language is spoken you may participate in one-on-one

telephone, and,or through an intensie immersion experience at the
M1C. Ater entering the M1C, you will participate in three ollow-up
sessions.

the day-to-day coordinators o Stake \oung Single Adult Programs.
Responsibilities include training and mentoring young single adults and

mission president, Institute coordinator, and young missionaries.

couples may sere as member and leadership support missionaries.

Opportunities exist or couples desiring to sere at isitors` centers and
church historic sites. 1he majority o these assignments are Flled in
January and begin in March. In order to be aailable to sere, couples
should submit their Missionary Recommendation lorms beore the
end o the prior year. Calls range in length rom six to 23 months.
Missionaries should be in good health and able to perorm physically
demanding actiities. 1hey should expect to spend most o their
six-hour shit each day standing and walking. At historic sites, this
may include repeatedly climbing steep stairs, being outside in summer
weather, and walking more than three miles a day on historic trails.

1he primary responsibility o the area auditor couple is to train and
superise assistant area auditors. 1his couple also helps ensure Church

o the Daid M. Kennedy Center or International Studies at
Brigham \oung Uniersity. It was established in 1989 to proide

in nine cities throughout China. 1eachers need to hae a uniersity
