P. 8 of 8 Cost of other that may not be needs Approximate alternate achievable budget; if necessary CONSULTATIONS: Structural engineering methods have been discussed with bill Pease with MSC Engineers, Inc, Salem; conclusion, We should be able to get it to work. Construction techniques and unit pricing have been previously met; and work sheets for this document have been reviewed as, Budget is complete, by Dalke Construction, INC, Salem. Fire, Life and Safety discussions with Geoffrey James, AIA, Salem. RECOMMENDATION; 50/50: Proceed with bond election in May 2014 for $8,000.00.00; such that a maximum of 4.4 million may be spent for Eugene Field School; that, focusing on needs rather than wants, will upgrade the facility for occupant safety, learning environment, and historical satisfaction of the Community of Silverton and its surrounding Citizens. Further, that 3.6 million will be incorporated for the facility and learning needs of the representative rural schools in the Silver Falls School District. Construction experience discussion consensus agrees that the Eugene Field budget may be completed in two summer vacation work periods. This being the case, SFSD should declare an emergency and proceed with a design build RFP; and specifically with a budget limit, for construction to commence in May, 2014. Thank you.
