Football Instruction
1. . The tournaments will be played on knock-out-cum-League cumKnock-out basis.
2. The Management reserves the right to change the programme of
fixture as and when it deems necessary.
3. The team should report to the Tournament Secretary for the game at
least 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the game.
4. Duration of the Matches will be as follows :1) First Knock-out : 30 minutes each half with 10 minutes interval.
2) From Qualifying Round for league onwards : 45 minutes each
half with 10 minutes interval.
(Tournament Proper)
5. In Knock-out tournament in case of draw the tie-breaker will be
applied.
In LEAGUE Tournament the Winner will be awarded 3 points and
in case of draw both the teams will be awarded 1 point each.
6. If any team is not ready to start the game after 10 minutes of the time
scheduled for play, the opposing team may be given a Walk-over.
7. All the players shall carry with them their college valid Identity
Cards and shall hand-over the Identity Cards of all the players,
including the substitutes, to the Referee or the Tournament Secretary
along with the line-up before the start of the game.
8. The team must be in COLOUR registered with University. The
players should wear numbers on back side of their jersey/shirt. No
players will be allowed to play if the wear a jersey/shirt without a
number on the back side and without footwear.
9. Each player shall wear a different number. No two players in a team
shall were identical number.
10. The representing colleges will be responsible for the conduct of their
players, on and off the playing field during their matches. In case of
any misconduct of the student/ s on and off the field, the University
authority will take serious action against the offending teams.
11. Matches will be played as per the FIFA rules, which is adopted by
Mumbai District Football Association.
12. The College should bring their own ball for matches. NIVIA
SHINING STAR BRAND BALL will be used for the tournament.
13. Only Team officials and substitutes will be permitted to enter the
ground and sit on the Bench.
14. If any team not reported on scheduled time the duration of match will
be cut off.
15. College having submitted the entry & thereafter fails to participate
for which disciplinary action will be initiated.
16. NO TEAM WILL BE ALLOWED TO PLAY IF IT IS NOT

ACCOMPANIED BY A PROFESSOR-IN-CHARGE/SPORTS
DIRECTOR OF THE COLLEGE.
