Sample of Style Combinations

Most people are a combination of styles. Above left is a box-circle and above right is a circle squiggle. That means that the box-circles most dominant traits are box like with circle characteristics (the smaller shape inside the box), and the circle squiggle is a dominant circle with squiggle characteristics. Of course, this is a very simple and non-validated inventory, but it provides easy language with which you can describe personality traits. It is an introduction to the concept that your specific personality style tends to match some careers better than others, you use unique skills, and utilize specific strengths as well as express some weaknesses. For a more in-depth personality style discussion and career analysis talk to a career counselor. They can offer additional inventories, career tests, and connect you to specific career information that will help you choose and explore appropriate careers.
