Pro Life Message:

"Some people say that the assertion, "Life begins at conception" is only a "religious belief." Yet the following quote is found in a book about how to perform abortions: "Conception is the only occasion in the whole course of events when something happens during a brief moment of time that is truly 'momentous'How different is the fetus ten minutes before parturition and ten minutes after; that is, different in a way that would affect its value?" (Second Trimester Abortion: Perspectives After a Decade of Experience, Berger et al., eds. p. 215).

"Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again." John 4:13 Jesus reminds us that material things, even something as basic as water, can never satisfy us for long. When we build our lives around material possessions we always want more. True satisfaction only comes when we follow Jesus. Instead, He will look into our hearts to see how much we loved Him, how much we loved others and how we showed that love by the way we used our time, talents and treasure here on earth.

Mass Intentions
As Catholics, we have a long tradition of having Masses celebrated for those we wish to offer up in prayer. The Mass is the ultimate form of prayer, and each Mass is celebrated for an intention. Please consider having Masses celebrated for family and friends on special occasions and anniversaries, as well as those who are in need of prayers. Masses are also encouraged in memory of those loved ones who have died, especially on the anniversaries of their deaths. Contact Fr. Cory for more information!

To reserve the Parish Basement or other St. Marys facility, please contact Fr. Cory or Lana at the Parish Office (email office@SaintMarysMalta.org).
