SIMULATION OF INDUCTION MOTOR USING

MATLAB/SIMULINK
There is seldom need to simulate an IM in arbitrary reference frame. For power
system studies, induction machine loads along with other types of power system
components are often simulated on a system’s synchronously rotating reference frame.
But, for transient studies of adjustable speed drives, it is usually more convenient to
simulate the induction machine and its converter on a stationary reference frame.

The simulation of Induction Motor in the synchronously revolving frame has

been developed. Inorder to obtain the stationary reference frame circuit, the value of
e has been set to zero.
