Introduction: The teacher writes the title of the lesson on the board and interacts with them to know about their understanding of fire in general. Once they have understood the meaning of the title, the teacher moves on to the lesson. Explanation: The teacher asks them to underline the new words as she reads and explains the lesson to the students. New words are highlighted on the board and explained. Conclusion: The teacher asks two students to share what they have learnt in that days class.

Instructional Strategy

Introduction: The teacher recapitulates what had happened by calling out two students name and asking them to brief about it. Explanation: Then the teacher continues from where it was stopped the previous day. The teacher tells the students to come out with the new words and writes all of them on the board to make sure that they have learnt the new words, the spelling, their meaning, application in a sentence, etc. Then the teacher reads the lesson and explains the meaning of it. Conclusion: The teacher selects two students and asks them to give summary of the lesson. Two students are asked to read a paragraph each and the teacher checks their pronunciation.

Students will be able to improve in comprehension skill Students will be able to check their understanding of a passage

Introduction: The teacher recapitulates what had happened in the last two classes and asks two students to brief the passage. Then the teacher explains them what they are going to do today. Explanation: The students are asked to read the questions in the comprehension exercise and try to answer them in their mind. The teacher then names some students to stand, read a question and say the answer. If the answer is wrong, the teacher moves to the next student. All the questions are discussed like this. Then the teacher asks them to copy the question in their notebook and answer them individually. Once that exercise is complete, the teacher puts the title synonyms on the board and explains them that synonyms are words that give similar meanings. The teacher asks them to write synonyms of the given words in their notebook. Conclusion: The teacher checks their work and gives feedback for further improvement.

Explanation: Then the teacher explains them the importance of punctuation in English language mainly capitalization. Then the teacher explains nouns in general, then noun numbers that means singular and plural. Conclusion: The teacher asks them to complete the exercises that are given in their student book and checks their work and corrects their mistakes.

The students will be able to say what an adjective is. The students will be able to identify adjective in a sentence. Introduction: The teacher puts the title Adjective on the board and tells them that they are going to learn about adjective and adjective phrase. Explanation: The teacher explains that describing words are called adjectives in English and they describe or gives information about a noun. The teacher writes examples on the board. The teacher also explains that joining two adjectives are makes an adjective phrase. The teacher asks each student to say an adjective. Then the teacher asks them to write ten sentences using at least one adjective in a sentence. The teacher uses smart board for further explanation regarding adjectives. Conclusion: The teacher checks their work and corrects their mistakes.
