Enrolled over 300 car dealers. Purchased 10 million dollars of bulk receivables from BHPH independent dealers. Responsible for pricing and selecting retail contracts in the portfolio The CEO and I were the original employees. We grew this operation to 65 employees and generated 50 million dollars of receivables. Supervised the collections and sales staff. Created policies and underwriting guidelines. I helped with the merger of Pacific Finance Group in Boulder, a company I co-owned with 2 million dollars of receivables.

TranSouth Financial Services 1994-1995 Regional Branch Manager I was the first employee hired. Started this operation to give the company name recognition in in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. Responsible for hiring and training the underwriters, sales and the clerical staff. Grew the business from zero contracts to over 200 per month in less than 6 months. The majority of the business was created from 25 independent dealers in Colorado. Dealers in Utah and Wyoming were all franchise dealers. Universal Underwriters 1991-1994 GE Capital was the largest independent provider of extended service contracts in the nation. I oversaw the independent brokers in several states. The credit life and extended service contracts program was just created to compliment the garage liability product. The current sales staff knew very little about dealership operations or what a finance manager did. My job was to cross train the insurance representatives on how to a market the newly created credit insurance and extended service contract product. I conducted seminars to dealership F&I managers so they would be more effective in selling the ancillary products. I was able to earn the President Producers Club award given to the top 20%. 13 years at GMAC: 1977 - 1985 My career started here as a field collector. After demonstrating superior performance, I was promoted to Credit Analyst. I evaluated financial statements to determine floor plan limits and conducted period audits for the purpose of seeing if the account was out of trust. Analyzed dealer income statement and balance sheets to determine the level of credit risk. Transferred and promoted to Denver to oversee the collection department of 35 collectors. Hired collectors and completed performance reviews.

I was assigned to special tasks such as integrating the EDS automated sales line project for underwriting retail loans. Transferred to the Golden Colorado Branch to underwriter for the top producing GM dealers. I was popular with the car dealers, so I was transferred to the leasing department, which at that time was the largest producing branch of retail leasing in the country.
