Matt Bassington (Alexander lachance) Adam Batchelor (Charlie Adams) George Carey (Tyler) Sam Heaney (Danny) Brad

Johnson (Tracy) Zachary Stephens (Mr Mcguiness) We tuned our various talents to fit certain characters or roles within the piece of Media we are creating, for example as Brad is an art student he is drawing the story board and Joey took btec Media and seems to be the most competent with the camera so he is going to be filming the vast majority of it as I am taking A level drama I am going to be acting we tried to find actors that would suit the characters here is an outline of the reasons our characters are being played by these particular actors. Matt Bassington I am playing the main character of this story who is a massive nerd now I have played a variety of different roles and can integrate smoothly into any character as long as I know their motives and the background of the character as I was the person who wrote the script this meant I could effectively play a character because I understood their motives as I was the person who created them and the reason why the character needed them. Adam Batchelor Adam took GCSE drama which means he has a lot of experience getting into roles and acting them out effectively we also realized fairly early on while working with him that Adam himself is a stereotype and quite eagerly expresses that he is in fact Adam in some ways is quite similar to the character he is playing so it would be more natural if Adam played him. George Carey George is an extremely talented actor and can pull of a hilarious northern accent, which is exactly the kind of mimicry childish humor we are looking for to appease our audience. He can act very masculine and aggressive which suits the bully role quite well but at the same time his sarcastic observation we have seen him use in some of the short videos we have seen him in are quite funny and have added something to the piece and we need actors that make the roles their own so I thought he would suit the part perfectly Sam Heaney Also took A level drama he is also an incredibly talented actor and has shown significant merit in other productions he has acted in at the same time having known Sam for a long time I know his style of humor and I felt that he would be able to help make our comedy funny which is key towards making any form of comedic Media.

Brad Johnson While he doesn't have much experience acting he does have a certain voice that he can use that pulls of the childish humor effectively this was shown by our preliminary where Brad plays a character and used that voice in our title sequence we are going to be using a similar character where Brad will behave and act similarly to the character as he did in the prelim. People found this character immensely funny and I felt that is salvaged our prelim and made it funny and humor is something we desperately need if we are going to make this title sequence work within our selected genre. Zachary Stephens Zac is a character himself and is generally an extremely funny guy so far I have yet to see another actor that can pull of his unique sense of humor as effectively as he does. But more importantly he can pull of an Irish accent, which is what we are using for the Mr McGuiness character, and we felt adding in something a bit different like an accent and a stereotype that isn't normally associated with teen comedy would make it a bit more unique and original. I have seen him act in other productions and use an Irish accent effectively and it was a really immersive character and I feel that immersing and creating effective characters tends to be the focus in the style of comedy we are going for and are what carries these types of productions. If you look at films like American pie it is the characters that make the film and if we don't have convincing or the right kinds of characters then the title sequence just wont work.
