SMS Setup Configuration

Hardware Requirements
P-IV Class Machine with at least 512MB of Memory and about 20 GB of Hard disk Drive with at least 2 17 Monitor GPRS Modem (USB) Mobile SIM (Any adequate service Provider) Installation of Modem

Software Requirements
Windows XP Operating System with SP-2 MS-Office Modem Driver Installed Properly Back End SMS gateway Application (for sending SMS) Front End SMS Composing Application

Insert Modem into USB port Locate driver when prompt (it is located in CD which has been provided to you) Install Modem according to procedure. Now right click on My Computer>Manage>Device Manager on left column. At device manager on left column you will find modems>USB GPRS Modem As shown in fig.

Right click on USB GPRS Modem then Properties

Note down Port no. you will need it later

Click on diagnostics then Query Modem

If following screen appears it means you have successfully installed and configured modem

Go through Installation of SMS sending application

Installation of Application
In CD-ROM Locate file mmessenger(MobleMessenger).exe Run Setup by Double Clicking Application

Click on Yes

Click on Start

Click on Yes

Click on OK

Click on Change directory

Select Drive D: from Drive menu

Then type Manually folder name where you want to install application (for example SMS) then Click on OK

Click Yes

Click here to begin Installation

Click Continue

Click OK You have successfully installed application Go to start>All programs> find mobile messenger

Find mobile messenger> Mobile Messenger

Click on register

Click registration Information

Type following Name=muhammadimran Registration code=314300225 Click OK Close Application and Restart, now you will not ask for registration

How to Use ?

Go to File>Settings

Select Comport of Your GPRS Modem which was noted down before, then click OK

Now

Check this box, and type number according to format below

Number format : +92aaabbbbbbb Where a=Operator Code with out 0(300,333,321,345, etc.) B=Recipients Number Type Message and click Send

Back of Data Base

Click On my Computer then Select Drive D: .In Drive D: locate folder name SMS

In folder SMS, Copy Both These files to some other location periodically. These are main data base files In case of re-installation of Application replace them with original.
