INTRODUCTION Nowadays, the cultivation of vegetables is partially important for it has an increasing demand for the people continuously

eating or using it. Many vegetables like Saluyot have been used since ancient time for different purposes. They are used as source of active ingredients for the production of alternate medicines, pesticides and as well as additive in foods. SALUYOT, also known as jute, is a green leafy vegetable that is rich in calcium, phosphorus, iron and potassium. It has also been determined that 100 grams of saluyot contains an ample amount of Vitamin A, thiamine, riboflavin, ascorbic acid, and is also rich in fiber. With these facts alone, we can appreciate the benefits that can be derived from eating and incorporating saluyot in ones diet. Thats what I did, almost every day. Saluyot can be found basically everywhere. From warm, tropical countries like the Philippines to tropical deserts and wet forest zones, saluyot is abundant. It does not require much attention and care, and thus, thrives without cultivation the whole year round. Saluyot is especially known for its slimy properties when cooked. Traditionally, these properties where believed to help in food digestions. A further study however by nutritional experts and botanists revealed that Saluyot is very nutritious. It is a rich source of Vitamin A, thiamine, niacin, riboflavin, Vitamin C, phosphorous, iron, potassium and apparently fiber. Beta-carotene is especially important for maintaining good eyesight, iron is used for helping the blood carry oxygen in the body, calcium for development of strong bones, and vitamin C and E for maintain smooth clear skin and reinforcing our body immune system to fight of sickness and diseases. Saluyot is a great antioxidant because it is full of Vitamin E, which helps in combating age by reducing the frequency of wrinkles in the skin. One of the major and clear benefits of saliyot is it will make you look younger because of its antioxidants properties. Meanwhile its other nutrients combined helps in decreasing the risk of developing arthritis, hypertension, heart and kidney diseases. Because of these health benefits, eating Saluyot is highly recommended for diabetic patients. In fact, this vegetable can be eaten regularly and without any restraint. The nutritional benefits provided by saluyot basically help prevent or restrain the risks of developing diseases related to diabetes. For instance, because of its anti-inflammatory properties, it helps diabetic reduce the risk of getting hard to heal wounds. Feasibility Study of the Project Market Aspect All Cookies lovers within the Vicinity of the City of Santiago Isabela are considered as our target market. We conducted an observation in different barangays within the City which has heavy customer traffic. We will strive to be competitive in the market. Our major competitors are Cream O, Chips Ahoy, and Oreo since it caters chocolate flavouring which has high demand in the market.

Management Aspect The form of Business organization is Partnership. The team mission is to produce and deliver quality cookies to satisfy and meet the expectations of the consumers and it envisions itself to be leading manufacturer and distributor of Malungay cookies in local market. The agreed location of team is within the premises of the City of Santiago City. Technical Aspect Saluyot cookies produced by passing five major processes: preparation of raw materials, mixing the ingredient, measuring the desired shape, baking and packing. Team will undergo a 1 day training inside the production room for proper handling and operation of machine. Limitation of the Project Study The research includes the study of feasibility of creating a vegetable cookies in the City of Santiago. Observation within the premises of the City of Santiago City. To determine the present situation of the industry, need of the product, buying behaviour of the target market, the process involved baking, and how profitable the business can be.
