[coup'de tat!] Scorps Vs Mugen - Fight for Hokageship!

Reis Rules and Regulations Mid Range All Allowed Battlefield is outside of hokage building, flat ground, no water source, surrounded by buildings all around (forming a mid range square around us, thus long range from side to side, slightly longer than it is wide), the large Hokage building behind you, short range from your back. All surrounding ninjas have vacated the area Mid range

All normal rules of the NW Event rules are in place. I'll be using my Galen bio on sig, with the Water Goddess on his back. You can make the first move as is your right.

Galen took notice of his opponent. He didn't flinch or said anything. All that needed to be said, had been put in the open. His opponent new exactly what he wanted to do and what he wanted to accomplish. He had the ability to give up but Galen knew he wouldn't. Delusional mad men never do.

I truthfully thought that my time as Kage was up, two insurgences in less than 48 hours but a great and wise and powerful man once told me. Vibrating it at immense speeds, making the lightning even deadlier. But in rapid succession, right hand already extending and pumped full of lightning chakra a ten meter long spear shoots out of it, strictly composed of nothing but deadly vibrating lightning as it stealthily trails behind the vortex unbeknownst to you. With this The user can Increase the frequency of his Lightning Chakra and with it, make an object that has more penetrative force then that of a Fuuton technique. Killer Bee's lightning prowess is so great, he can even charge weak but sharp pencil-point to pierce straight through a large tree trunk. As stated by Kisame, Killer Bee is able to do this by increasing the vibration frequency of his lightning chakra to surpass the standard penetrative force of wind-chakra. (Last 5 turns) (No lightning 2 turns afterwards)

As his Hokage speaks, Galen filters it out. Its just jibber jabber and nothing concrete. The speech of a politician who was just caught red handed with a hooker. Only thing missing is his wife nearby, cheering him on for the flashes of public eye, giving the illusion that all is well. But all isn't well. Corruption and betrayal reek miles away and Galen could smell it like an egg, rotting in the warm summer's sun. That man was all sweet talks but he was a failure. A soft puppet, worked by others who pulled the strings. As Galen noticed the Hokage's chakra pooling and focusing as he changed its nature to Lightning, he knew what to do. As soon as the chakra was about to be released, Galen used the force and altered the Hokage's perception. To the eyes and senses of the Hokage, deep in his mind, the technique was released just as he envisioned it. It was as if nothing had happened wrong and the technique hit Galen, obliterating him. However, it soon faded and the reality was that nothing had happened. Well, that wasn't entirely true. Something had happened. 2 Kunais hit him just as he took notice of reality, one in each leg. Both had a sealing tag wrapped around their hilts. The sealing mark suddenly expanded on both and ripped the Hokage to shreds as they collapsed upon themselves, sealing him, half of him that is, on each one. (What happens is that while you're thinking yuo are releasing the technique and its travelling and hits me, I throw 2 kunais in reality which hit you just as you regain your senses; basically, throwing the kunais and using Mind Trick is done at the same time. The kunais then trigger as a result of foreign chakra, namely, your own, wrapping around it and sealing it inside them.) Galen's move, off course, happens between both the Rage of the Thunder God ( and as a result to it) and the The Giant Thunder God Lance. Empty words...

Kysei Machigai/Mageru | Force Mind Trick/Will Bend Type: Defensive Rank: S-Rank Range: Short-Mid Chakra: 40 Damage: N/A Description: A basic offensive Force Control ability, it revolves around using the force to influence the will and mind of others. Through the use of the force the user will influence the mind of those around him and put their will under his control. The applications of both Sith and Jedi's are different in their purpose and finality but equal in their method: Mind Trick|Machigai- The Jedi will use the force to make the target's technique miss. Mind Trick will fool the target into believing his technique hit its target by tricking his mind into believing an event happened when in fact the user used the force to warp his mind mid way through the process. As the enemy is molding his chakra, the Jedi, using Force Sense, will perceive the change and use the force to trick the mind of his enemy. His enemy will believe that he in fact used the technique and it hit his target but in essence its a simple mind trick where the enemy will have molded and spent the chakra, effectively using the technique but without any effect happening.

Once the effect ends, the enemy can quickly recover and "fall to his senses" of what really happened. Will Bend|Mageru- Similar to Killing Intent in some aspects its much more devastating and serves a much more practical use, the Sith will use the force to overcome the mind of any enemy nearby. He does this by flooding the enemies mind with his own overbearing will and "crushing" the enemies mind in the process. The user will effectively break the targets will in all that such an expression means and while doing so can even render, through his imagination, nightmarish emotional effects such as fear, terror, nausea, etc through the use of speech (in an RP way, appropriate dialogue is necessary). The target will be unable to move and will often collapse on his knees due to the immense mental pressure and be subdued to the users will and immense torturing pressure. The Sith needs to focus on the technique to completely bend the opponents will and produce the desired effect, meaning he cannot simply throw a weapon or use a technique on the enemy while he is forcefully bending him to his will. The main use of the technique, however, is to reset most power ups the enemy might have activated prior or to stop the enemy in the midst of using a technique. As the target descends into the despair filled pit that is the Sith's maniacal mental games, the lack of focus and will sustain them clears any mental cleansing or boosting techniques cast before by the target and makes him release techniques such as Sage Mode, EIG, Susanoo, clones, etc that he might have used to boost himself or other he might otherwise currently have active. If summons are in the field, the enemy will release them, reverse summoning them to their lands. The effect is so powerful that it can even revert Bijuu chakra cloaks and incomplete transformations. Once the effect ends, the enemy immediately recovers. Restriction-wise, the target will suffer any effect he might have suffered had he released the technique himself, on his own free will. Due to the nature of the technique, the user is unable to differenciate from friends or foes while using will bend and will effectively do the same effect to nearby allies, summons or even his clones, dispersing them. Note: Mind Trick can only be used by Jedis and Will Bend can only be used by Sith. Note: Mind Trick can only be used 2 times and Will Bend can only be used once per battle. Note: Cannot use Force related techniques in the same and next turn. Note: Grand Masters can use both abilities but only one application per battle. Was asked to check this fight for timeframe issues. I don't see them to have been breached. Time frame is often misconstrued to mean "first jutsu must be released" when it's actually that you first offensive act must be completed. Meaning, you began gathering chakra to release a jutsu. From that point onwards, he is able to act. In most cases, by time one begins to act, they must first form chakra and manipulate it and by then, the other jutsu has been released. His jutsu explicitly starts as you gather chakra, which can be seen in his jutsu description itself, allowing his move to work. Continue.

As his Hokage speaks, Galen filters it out. Its just jibber jabber and nothing concrete. The speech of a politician who was just caught red handed with a hooker. Only thing missing is his wife nearby, cheering him on for the flashes of public eye, giving the illusion that all is well. But all isn't well. Corruption and betrayal reek miles away and Galen could smell it like an egg, rotting in the warm summer's sun. That man was all sweet talks but he was a failure. A soft puppet, worked by others who pulled the strings. As Galen noticed the Hokage's chakra pooling and focusing as he changed its nature to Lightning, he knew what to do. As soon as the chakra was about to be released, Galen used the force and altered the Hokage's perception. To the eyes and senses of the Hokage, deep in his mind, the technique was released just as he envisioned it. It was as if nothing had happened wrong and the technique hit Galen, obliterating him. However, it soon faded and the reality was that nothing had happened. Well, that wasn't entirely true. Something had happened. 2 Kunais hit him just as he took notice of reality, one in each leg. Both had a sealing tag wrapped around their hilts. The sealing mark suddenly expanded on both and ripped the Hokage to shreds as they collapsed upon themselves, sealing him, half of him that is, on each one. (What happens is that while you're thinking yuo are releasing the technique and its travelling and hits me, I throw 2 kunais in reality which hit you just as you regain your senses; basically, throwing the kunais and using Mind Trick is done at the same time. The kunais then trigger as a result of foreign chakra, namely, your own, wrapping around it and sealing it inside them.) Galen's move, off course, happens between both the Rage of the Thunder God ( and as a result to it) and the The Giant Thunder God Lance. Empty words...

Kysei Machigai/Mageru | Force Mind Trick/Will Bend Type: Defensive Rank: S-Rank Range: Short-Mid Chakra: 40 Damage: N/A Description: A basic offensive Force Control ability, it revolves around using the force to influence the will and mind of others. Through the use of the force the user will influence the mind of those around him and put their will under his control. The applications of both Sith and Jedi's are different in their purpose and finality but equal in their method: Mind Trick|Machigai- The Jedi will use the force to make the target's technique miss. Mind Trick will fool the target into believing his technique hit its target by tricking his mind into believing an event happened when in fact the user used the force to warp his mind mid way through the process. As the enemy is molding his chakra, the Jedi, using Force Sense, will perceive the change and use the force to trick the mind of his enemy. His enemy will believe that he in fact used the technique and it hit his target but in essence its a simple mind trick where the enemy will have molded and spent the chakra, effectively using the technique but without any effect happening. Once the effect ends, the enemy can quickly recover and "fall to his senses" of what really happened. Will Bend|Mageru- Similar to Killing Intent in some aspects its much more devastating and serves a much more practical use, the Sith will use the force to overcome the mind of any enemy nearby. He does this by flooding the enemies mind with his own overbearing will and "crushing" the enemies mind in the process. The user will effectively break the targets will in all that such an expression means and while doing so can even render, through his imagination, nightmarish emotional effects such as fear, terror, nausea, etc through the use of speech (in an RP way, appropriate dialogue is necessary). The target will be unable to move and will often collapse on his knees due to the immense mental pressure and be subdued to the users will and immense torturing pressure. The Sith needs to focus on the technique to completely bend the opponents will and produce the desired effect, meaning he cannot simply throw a weapon or use a technique on the enemy while he is forcefully bending him to his will. The main use of the technique, however, is to reset most power ups the enemy might have activated prior or to stop the enemy in the midst of using a technique. As the target descends into the despair filled pit that is the Sith's maniacal mental games, the lack of focus and will sustain them clears any mental cleansing or boosting techniques cast before by the target and makes him release techniques such as Sage Mode, EIG, Susanoo, clones, etc that he might have used to boost himself or other he might otherwise currently have active. If summons are in the field, the enemy will release them, reverse summoning them to their lands. The effect is so powerful that it can even revert Bijuu chakra cloaks and incomplete transformations. Once the effect ends, the enemy immediately recovers. Restriction-wise, the target will suffer any effect he might have suffered had he released the technique himself, on his own free will. Due to the nature of the technique, the user is unable to differenciate from friends or foes while using will bend and will effectively do the same effect to nearby allies, summons or even his clones, dispersing them. Note: Mind Trick can only be used by Jedis and Will Bend can only be used by Sith. Note: Mind Trick can only be used 2 times and Will Bend can only be used once per battle. Note: Cannot use Force related techniques in the same and next turn. Note: Grand Masters can use both abilities but only one application per battle. Note: The abilities aren't Genjutsu but pure Mental and Will manipulation and as such cannot simply be released or dispelled or otherwise countered by the same means as one does for Genjutsu or Yamanaka techniques. As i'm charging up for my attack before as I begin to release it unbeknownst to me you have secrelty used one of your clans abilities, force mind trick. Before it takes effect is so fast as stated in the jutsu a seal on my right hand that is constantly and always activated erects an immediate barrier around me short range, the invisible barrier is always around me but doesn't become active until an extremely fast jutsu is use against me and is short range of me. Thus the jutsu does me no harm. As the barrier erects my lightning combo goes through at the same time of course as you get completely destroyed. This sealing formula erects an invisible barrier that's made around the user at all times but does not actually cost the user a move until it activates, the barrier works by detecting the chakra of a fast incoming technique and deflects it, causing it to dissipate and leave the user unharmed, the barrier's deflection ability is only triggered by a fast moving technique, basically a technique that can't be tracked by normal eye sight and requires at least a Sharingan or similar means to track, the barrier that's around the user detects the speed once the technique collides with the chakra released from the barrier that's around the user and the sealing formula glows suddenly, causing the barrier that surrounds the user to repel the incoming technique within short range of the user. Note: Can only be trigger twice per battle. Note: Can guard against up to an S-rank technique. Note: The user can use it twice counting as two moves per turn and using +30 chakra with each usage to guard against a forbidden ranked technique, this can only be used once. Note: No Finjutsu techniques in the same turn.

Back again about the validity of Mugen's last move. The jutsu you used, Mugen, doesn't allow for it to be used in that manner imo. Taking that wording seriously, it means only jutsus that are coming towards you, not those that start under you like spikes (in most cases) nor things that start within your body like some jutsus (zetsu spore, etc). Reading through Scorps' Mind Trick jutsu, it doesn't create a wave of chakra that is released from him to travel to you and then affect you, otherwise you would have never been interrupted from completing the first jutsu you used as it wouldn't travel in enough time to stop you. Imo, your fuuinjutsu defense would fail to break you from the Mind Trick's snare and likewise cause you to fall victim to the kunais thrown next.
