SITE ADMINISTRATOR: It is used for the following: 1. 2. 3. 4. Creating, modifying, and deleting the DOMAINS. Creating, modifying, and deleting the PROJECTS. Creating, modifying, and deleting the ROLES. Assigning the roles to the Project and all the other Administrative activities.

QUALITY CENTER: It has 6 modules: 1. BUSSINESS COMPONENTS: This module is used by the Subject Matter Experts (SME) (Or) BUSSINESS ANALYST (BA) to design the components of all the end to end scenarios of an application, which belongs to a critical domain, once the business components are designed, based on that the test engineers will develop the test and perform testing on the application. This type of testing is known as Business Process Testing (BPT). 2. REQUIREMENTS: This module is used for the following: 1. It is used for adding the Main Requirements. 2. It is used for adding the Child Requirements. 3. It is used for viewing the Direct Cover Status. 4. It is used for viewing the Author Name. 5. It is used for viewing the Review Statusetc. 3. TEST PLAN: This module is used for the following: 1. Creating the Folder structure. 2. Creating the Empty Tests. 3. It provides the provision to launch the corresponding automated tool for developing the Tests. 4. It provides the provision to write the Test Cases. 5. It provides the provision to establish a link between Tests and Requirements.

4. TEST LAB: This module is used for the following: 1. It is used for creating a Folder Structure. 2. It provides the provision to build the Test sets. 3. It provides the provision to execute the Test sets and Individual tests. Once the execution is done, Analyzing the result, then there is a chance of identifying the Defects, if at all any defects are found than one will use the next module. 5. DEFECTS: This module is very much similar to a Bug Tracking Tool, which provides all the facilities for Bug Tracking and Reporting. 6. DASH BOARD: It is a special module provided by the Quality Center, which is used by the Manager Cadre people for generating common Reports across multiple Projects.
